PC ditched awards show bec of pay cheque of male superstar?

A very important awards show, which is termed as Bollywood Oscars for reasons best known to the organisers, is in the line of fire for several factors, the prominent one being its botched up editing. Anyway, that's not the point that we are discussing here. Mumbai Mirror has reported today that Priyanka Chopra was approached to be part of this mega event in NYC but she decided to give it a boot coz the remuneration she was offered didn't make her happy. But that's not all. A certain male superstar apparently got a lot of money for just being there!

Priyanka Chopra thus decided to do something better than sitting through a mundane show... she went on a family vacation to Maldives. The pics from the place has got us planning our next trip there. As per MM, the actress was approached to not only perform at the awards show but also host a segment. And we are talking about January here. But after several negotiations, PC apparently wasn't too elated at the money they were offering. What ticked her off further was that a male superstar was being paid a lot more for just attend the event. This didn't bode well for her and she decided to not even be in the city when the gala happens.

We feel, Priyanka has missed out on nothing. This awards show was nothing more than a butt of all jokes. But we would like to know from you, who do you think is this male superstar and which is this event? Your guess is as good as ours!
