AvNeil TS: Two broken soul (Last part updated on Page 7)

It all started with healing each other...

Neil Khanna- Supercop or say ACP/IPS..

Avni Mehta- New business sensation.

It was not any usual day. Because today the world has conspired to bring two strange yet broken soul together.

Our hero Neil was broken, his love of life Juhi died on this exact date 3 years ago and till then he was living his life like a machine.. Wake up, go to work, eat just as much needed to survive, come back home, fake smile and then sleep. Next day start with same routine. His home was not where his mom dad lived.. Due to work load and to live alone he preferred an apartment.

Our heroine Avni was broken too.. Her Mom and Dad died on this exact date in a plane crash when she was just 10 years ago, when they were on the way to meet her only daughter because of her stubbornness... Her Dadi blamed her for death of her Son and DIL.. After that, She studied hard just to make her parents proud and finally opened her own business with the help of her uncle. But her life was not at all happening and entertaining.. She was always indulged in her works and was rarely seen in her house. She avoided her home which remind her of the guilt. So she lived in a rented apartment.

The two broken soul lived in the same apartment yet unaware of each other's presence.

This was the most uneventful day of both their life. Both of them decided to drown their miseries by having alcohol I their system to just forget about all these memories which were haunting them.

They got ready and decided to go to the club. But yet again unaware of their fate.. The fate which was about to bring them closer. Because one broken soul can be healed by another as both of them understand the pain and misery they are going through.

She was in flowy black one piece which ended two inch above her knee, with off shoulder design which was her favourite. The dress complimented her curves perfectly.

He was in his casual white shirt with black jacket and dark blue denim.

They entered the same club but at different timing. Boys drooled over her and saw her with lustful eyes, she was used to these type of stares, so she just ignored them and walked in with confidence.

Girls were all over him as he entered the club. Boys were envious of him, yet another set of boys were impressed with his dressing style and handsomeness.. He ignored the attention and went inside.

Both were on the opposite side of the bar counter, drowning their miseries with vodka and whisky.

She was boss in her company, elegant, confidence yet shy and bold. No one has seen her in this condition.

Same was his case, boss in his police station, well mannered, strict and disciplined but here he was totally different.

After sometime both of them rose from their respective place and came in between the bar counter for better access of alcohol.

Both of them demanded more strong drink at the same time. That got each other attention. Both were thinking who else is here to forget their memories.

Their eye locked. They can see through their soul and the pain they have gone through. It was like instant connection.

"So you are here to drown your miseries ", both said at the same time.

"Yup", Both again said at same time popping the 'p'...

And they had a hearty laugh. It was not one that they had when they are with other people. It was genuine laugh. They both had this after a long time.

"So, what's your story Miss??" Neil asked.

" I think we are here to forget about our stories, so why to remember that uneventful day..." Avni said gulping another round of shot.

It didn't felt sour anymore. She was use to this sourness of the drink.

Neil just smirked at her action.

Avni again took another shot and banged the glass on the bar.

She stood up and was about to go when Neil held her hand..

"Where you going, Ms. Ajooba?" Neil asked her with amused expression..

"To dance.. Wanna join?" Avni said directly.

Neil followed her to the dance floor..

As Avni hit the dance floor, she started swaying her body on the beat without caring about the world, with closed eyes.

Neil was slowly moving to the beat but his whole focus was on the girl infront of him. He was lost in him. After so long he has seen a girl, with whom he is able to forget about Juhi. He was lost in her beauty as well as in her pain. He just wanted to heal her. To know what's the reason of her pain. And just hope to know her better..

It was like she was iron and he was nail. He was pulled towards her... He held her from behind and encircled her in his arm.. Both started swaying on the music and with coordination. It was like they have practised it.. Neil buried his face in Avni's hair and inhaled her fragrance. Avni raised her hands and kept around his neck still her back to his front...

As the music turned wild, they started moving sensuously with each other and that later led to grinding.. No one was there to judge them.. Just two broken soul lost in each other..

Avni turned around, encircled her arms around Neil's neck and pulled him closer.. With a swift movement she attached her lips to his. It was like fireworks exploded within them. It was their first kiss in the first meeting yet they were kissing like long lost lover. Both fighting for dominance and tasting each other.. They both can taste vodka and whisky yet it was intensified by their own taste and made them sweeter for the other..

Tonight, in that kiss, they truly forgot about their miseries and pain.

When they were out of breath, they broke the kiss, and put their forehead against each other.. Their warm breath mingling together, they were panting hard.. And there was a smile on both their faces.

Suddenly, Avni pulled Neil out of the dance floor towards the exit..

"I didn't know you were so much eager.." Neil said smirking...

Avni ignored his comments and led him outside..

" We are going to the nearby cliff.. I wanna show you something..", Avni finally said...

"Are you mad? That place is dangerous." Neil said but still followed her.

"I know a safe point there. I always go there whenever I want an escape from this world. And i think you need a place like that." Avni said revealing her little secret.

"I knew you are Ms. Ajooba. Let's see what place is that." Neil said with a smile..

They both reached to a point where the front was well barricaded. So that no one can fall from there. But from that point you can see the whole town.. The scene infront of their eyes were mesmerising.. Neil was entranced by the sight in front of his eyes.

Avni sat on the cliff and Neil followed her.

" You see that two star shining together. They are always together and get brighter every night. They are my Mumma-Papa " Avni said pointing towards the stars.

Neil now knew what was the reason of her pain. He can totally understand the pain of loosing someone special and close to heart. And this girl has lost both her parents.

"Ya, I can see them. And do you see that one? The brightest star. That's My Juhi. My Love." Neil also shared his secret to her.

Now both were on the same platform. Both can feel each other's pain and the guilt behind it.

After a soothing pause, Neil broke the silence.

"So, what's your name Miss Ajooba?"

Neil asked.

"Avni Mehta." Avni said without any delay.

"Ohhh, so you are the infamous rising business tycoon about whom the whole city is talking." Neil said with proud. He didn't know why was he proud of but he was just proud to know about her. Avni just nodded at this.

"And you?" Avni asked Neil, still facing the stars.

"Where are my manners. I didn't introduced myself. I am Neil Khanna." Neil said with a smirk..

"Are you that Honest Inspector Neil Khanna, about whom the whole city is talking? " Avni said mimicking his dialogue.

Neil was happy to know that for the first time someone know him for being him not as son of business tycoon Prakash Khanna or Heir of Khanna industries.

But then he realised that she referred him as Inspector.

"Oh please, I m IPS Officer Neil Khanna not an inspector. " Neil corrected her.

"Whatever, it's the same." She said declining his protests.

Avni stood and start to move away from cliff..

"Hey, Ms. Ajooba? Where you going again. At least have some etiquette to ask your companion." Neil said standing himself.

"I am going home. And you are just a stranger for me nothing else. " Avni said moving away from him.

Neil took fast steps towards her and reached to her in fraction of second. He held her elbow and pulled her towards himself. Avni's back was to his front and both were plastered against each other.

" Do you kiss any stranger that way?" Neil whispered in her ears.

Her heart started beating hard against her ribcage due to there proximity.

" And i didn't thought a honest police officer like you will kiss any girl that way." She retorted.

His grip became loose and she jerked him and started walking ahead.

"And as an honest police officer, it's my duty to not leave a girl alone or let her go alone. I will drop you home." Neil said matching her pace.

"I am an independent women and I can go alone. Plus Mr. Supercop, of all the people you must know that 'drink and drive' is a crime." Avni responded sharply.

" I know that. And that's why I am gonna call a cab for both of us. Give me your address. " Neil said.

Avni was hell tired to argue, so she just gave him her address.

" So I thik we live in a same apartment and yet unaware of that. We are neighbours. Let's go. I have called the cab. It will be here anytime. " Neil said walking ahead of Avni.

Avni just followed Neil and went with him in the cab.

In the cab, their proximity was killing both of them. There was growing sexual tension which can be cut by a knife. Both were stealing glances. Their heart beat throbbing under their ribcage. Accidently there hands touched and their were fireworks.. The kiss in the club has ignited the deep desires of them which were buried down with paint nd guilt. But tonight that kiss sparkled it again. They have never experienced such kind of sexual interaction before. Though Neil was in love but that was platonic at that time they hadn't tried anything. But today with Avni all that desires surfaced and are floating in the air. He just want to grab her to his side and kiss her like she has never been kissed before. But the place was not correct.

They reached their apartment. Neil's apartment was on 6th floor and Avni's was on 5th. They took the lift which was obvious.

They moved to press the button at the same time. Their fingers touched. Avni immediately moved back. Neil hastily pressed the button. He turned towards Avni.

His eyes becoming darker with each step he took towards Avni...
