When I used to work as a plumber it was pretty much the same thing as I think its pretty much the same thing and breaks down to plumbing. 😆 Anyways I was expected to upsell things even if we knew where the clog was, and it was just sometimes a simple fix with some lube and a drain snake. We had to force them for video scanning in the drain, or bringing in a vaccum truck, install new pipes and tell them the piping has cracked blah blah. I agree there are complications but to me it seems like there has been too many complications happening too often and I still say natural birth should be preferred and promoted unless C section is an absolute last resort.

I can only speak about the States here, but of us, natural deliveries are preferred over C sections UNLESS there's a contraindication (Placenta Previa, shoulder dystocia, large for gestational age baby, previous c section, breech presentation).
There are more complications in C sections, not to mention, longer healing time for mom. A natural birth has a faster healing recovery time. Moms are usually out after 24 hours observation post delivery unless some complications.

theres a shift here for sure. At one point everyone was opting for C-sections for their convenience.
I know in NYC C-Sections were huge in the past decade but that it's slowly changing as more women are becoming aware that one can lead a healthier life with a Natural birth.

Nah, I disagree. When it comes to delivering babies, no doctor will compromise just for money. C-sections can be risky too. They won't suggest it to you unless they deem it to be necessary. Also, tobe parents have their instincts as well...they kinda know what feels right at that time. It's obviously dangerous to question a doctor's judgment when you're pushing a baby halfway through. Also, no one can force the patient to get a C section.
Medical procedures are anyway cheaper in India compared to the US. So it's really not about making money.

There must be trust between a health provider and a patient, but that's not to say that the Dr will always have the patients best interest at heart. One in every third child is born via c-section and there's a reason for that. Doctors have to consider their license when delivering naturally because if something goes wrong, they can be sued. That risk is eliminated by a C-section.

At the bold part: you might revise that statement once youre on the bed 😆. Women are at their most vulnerable at that point and will even change their stance on natural birth because they're in such pain.
