Sometimes I wonder if he didn't tell her simply to spare her pride...which in her own way is just as fierce as his sometimes...I think Anika would hate to be pitied...but more likely the writers just forgot to follow up on this angle as usual cuz they got busy with the dumb NT track.

Anika ne pehle eye contact ke baare mein socha and boldly dekha.. 👍🏼 Shivaay still had his eyes closed and was lost.. Me likes that! 😆 LOL I just realized while looking at this gif...I don't think Anika even closed her eyes🤣...I was wondering why they didn't show the side angle properly to clarify...she basically lowered her eyes and Shivaay was the one who closed his eyes and took in the moment...he seemed more moved than she did there...so yeah, no wonder she lifted her eyes first😆

LOL@ the some extent being added after seperation...haha kya banaa diya in logon ne achhi bhali story ka...but yes, this is a lingering problem with Shivika...despite the refreshingly direct way in which they manage to communicate about a lot of things, they still don't share their worries and vulnerabilities with each other to that extent...upar se ego and pride jumps into the mix so aur problems...pata nahin if this will ever be fixed.

This scene was nicely synced with the lyrics of the song as well.. Khud se karun mein bayan mein eye-lock etc.. 😆 And Bhai Shivaay toh ramta jogi mode mein chala gaya hai.. He was sooo lost... Tooo many feelz 😆 LOLL@Ramta Jogi mode😆😆...As Anika would say, BAALTI BHAR KE feelzz😆...haan Shivaay toh ekdum beh gaya😆

Word on the lyrics being so perfectly synced with the scene today...it's a rarity that they match so perfectly...perhaps that is why I liked the scene too😆

No-one mentioned but this time Anika SENSED Shivaay.. Uske sensors bhi on ho gaye hai..😆 LOL@ Anika ka Shivaay sensor working again...but yeh toh aata jaata rehta hai per writer saahiba ki convenience😆...waise I think she was expecting him to follow her after that taunt anyways...haha it honestly felt like she was goading him into coming over to her with an excuse to talk...like she was anticipating this...she hardly looked surprised to see him there😆

Sometimes and some people hold themselves personally responsible for things out of their control or that happened in the past.. I think Shivaay is like that.. If anything happens/happened to his family/person he loves, he feels guilty because he could not fix it.. could not protect them.. and this is the guilt I was talking about ...And yes...that was compounded by the guilt he felt because of the way he treated her as you said!

It would have been a lovely conversation.. An insight into these two people who actually don't share their pain/anguish often..

They need to address this communication problem + ego + pride otherwise we will just keep rebooting the story 😕😕 And I don't mean removing it completely but making sure the characters are aware of this shortcoming and work on it everytime it starts impacting their relationship..

Oh ok, you meant it like that then...haan I do agree he is like that...blames himself for not being able to protect his loved ones from any harm...but I think in this case he was genuinely more shaken by the magnitude of the hard times Anika had seen...and given that immediately after this scene, he goes and does tod phod in Rudy's room, it seems the guilt was more about how he had mistreated her without knowing she had already gone through so much pain in life...

His need to amend, atone and protect her all the more kicked in after that...too bad the writers still decided to throw it all away for contrived reboot😆

It would have been a lovely conversation.. An insight into these two people who actually don't share their pain/anguish often.. Absolutely...would have loved that insight...unfortunately the writers are very cagey in allowing for such moments...especially for Anika, they never go beyond her general descriptions of how she's always set up to lose in life, how everyone she loves leaves her...where are the specifics...and why is there not an exchange of information rather than one person unloading and the other quickly consoling them before scene ends...clearly, assurances alone don't solve the problem...unless they have a proper discussion of root causes and talking through their issues, nothing will evolve on that front.
