when Diya was getting married to ratan there was no mehandi at Diya hand . generally bride put on mehandi and put name of husband on mehandi before getting marry but here Diya has not put mehandi on her hand and there is no name of ratan written in her hand generally color of mehandi decide how much husband will love his wife generally it denotes love between husband and wife

but here Diya has not apply mehandi that means this marriage is done not to show how much Diya and ratan love each other

.Diya marry to ratan just to protect himit is just cruel Fate which make both marry

This marriage concept is unworthy. Marriage wasn't only option left for boy's parents to protect their son, It wasn't needed at first place. If they knew it from the start that their son's life is in danger they could have informed to police and provide legal protection to child. This marriage is itself invalid legaly then how come Diya get rights over Ratan n his property. If Ratan's relatives are plotting against him n his parents then they can plot against Diya also and it will not take them much time n effort to kill both Ratan n Diya. These relatives are not uneducated also, they seem smart enough to get the motive behind whole marraige idea n they are not uneducated or living in stone age that they wll accept this marriage. They could easily inform police and other organization against this offense n Diya and her family can be sent to jail for this criminal offense. So, in what way they are seeing Diya as a legal holder of Rtan n his propert when its not legal at the first place.

Listen I'm not the biggest fan of the concept myself...I'm mostly here for Tejaswi and so far the serial hasn't been creepy (somethings have made me uncomfortable).

Because Ratans father didn't believe they were in danger until he was in his deathbed...thats why legal protection is out of the question...he has like 1 hour to live, do you think he'll be able to look for legal protection, even adoption takes time but a gunshot wedding takes only 10 mins...the whole issue is that the father was blinded by familial relationships until the last minute possible and now he can't leave his son behind with a family that wants to kill him but he's dying and in pain...he's doesn't have time for other options (they all take time -which he doesnt have- to implement).

I dunno how they're working around legality of marriage...waiting to see the explanation myself but Ratan's family does believe that this marriage is valid and thats that all matters cos its them Ratan is being handled protected against.

Ofcourse Ratans family will try to kill Diya and Ratan...thats what the plot will be for the forseeable future and its a risk Ratans father took...after seeing Diya go to lengths to protect Ratans life and believing that she's lucky and auspicious for Ratan (Ratan would have died with his father if it wasnt for Diya's interference). Better to have someone with Ratan rather than no-one

I'm waiting to see how the cvs go around legality matter before judging. I'm not blindly defending this serial but am not also blindly hating.

If I watched Hindi soaps for content and plot and writing, I wouldn't watch any cos they're all regressive and disgusting 🤢 they glamorise abuse, sexual assault/near rape, torture with their jodis/ adult women marrying men with the mentality of a child and falling in love with them despite their behaviour/way of thinking is of a 5 yr old eg Bidaii and Banoo mein teri dulhann

ban all TV serials because they all promote abuse/torture/rape etc., This is not even that bad compared to ekta serials

This is just a marriage in name...to ultimately protect Ratan.

Diya does not see him as a husband, she's done this because she's indebted to his father and is also scared for Ratans life if he were to go back to his family.

A marriage is basically meaningless if both parties do not see each other in that way...its just a legal binding. Ratan himself doesn't understand marriage and what it pertains and Diya doesn't see him in that way therefore it means nothing.

Now before anyone says its not legal, im waiting to see how the cvs explain this too...im sure they must have thought about it.

when the marriage is not legal according to law...what property can be protected by it?

why cant she be killed first and then Ratan be killed ...is she some immortal person?

hope you remember that a minor was involved in the Nirbhaya rape case...

if the show is going to wait for Ratan to reach marriageable age (through a leap)...what about the years Diya wasted waiting for him to grow up...

Its absolutely regressive...

If Ratan is 21+ then I will accept it under the condition that at some point soon (while he's still young) they part ways (which is most likely to happen for a leap to occur). If the cvs show her falling for him while he's young then I'm out and will support the people petitioning to ban this show because thats peadophilia.

But any love story will happen after a leap as most serials do.

I'm waiting to see how cvs explain this legality matter myself.

Ofcourse she can be killed, the plot is now going to be Ratans family trying to kill her and Ratan...his father thought better for Ratan to have protection of someone loyal to him than no protection..its gonna take more effort and time to kill Ratan with her in the way.

if ur gonna bring real life into this serial, better ask to ban all serials cos nearly all promote either abuse/torture/near rape.

Why is Diya waiting for him...why is she wasting time...she's not interested in him as a love interest therefore she's not 'waiting'. She's paying off a debt and because she's a nice a human, her only other motive is to protect a child.

She's not sitting around idly waiting for him to grow up so she can fall in love with him in the future.

I think the people should give this Serial a chance and not pass judgments so fast. I don't think most people who are commenting negatively about this Serial has watched it. There have been shows on child marriage earlier too and viewers accepted it with open arms. Child Marriages did happen in olden times and are said to exist still in some parts of the World. Who knows, may be there may have been marriages of conveniences too where a child got married to older man/woman. Even if it does not exist, let us understand that this is Fiction and let us treat it like fiction. As far as I can see, the marriage happens to safeguard the child and his wealth from enemies. The heroine does the sacrifice because the child's father had saved her life and she owes him her life. She legally becomes the 'Caretaker' of the boy by marrying him. There is no romantic angle here though the child seems to have a crush on her. Probably, now the story will move on to how Diya will protect the boy against his enemies and their friendship bond. And maybe later, after some leaps, it will turn to be a story of a younger Guy falling in love with an Older Woman. I don't see anything wrong in the story so far. WE have been tolerating so many garbage Shows, this is nothing compared to that.

Most of the people who are following this show or any other regressive show and supporting whatever crap they are showing are just blind followers of the actor or actress. Belive it or not, that's the truth. Tejaswini as an actor is brilliant, I also admire her but I'm not the blind follower of any of my fav actor . I know most of the Indian tv soaps are regressive and I dont follow them.

Marriage of convenience or whatever you call it , cv can't justify this marriage . Ratan parents only cared about ratan's security but Diya is not a superwoman or bodyguard who will do anything to keep him safe. It is impossible. What about Diya, her life , her happiness. She also has dream just like any normal girl. In the begining of serial , they have showed that Diya is craving for a lover, life partner, marriage and a family n ofcourse she would have dreamt of having her own child also. So, after this illegal marriage she cant lead a normal life like any grown up girl. What about her studies, her dreams n her future. Cv has put question mark on her life.
