Seeing this topic after a long time I feel like posting my views. I finally caught up to this week's episodes. It's a challenge coz they are longer and as it is I have little to no time. The scenes with the kid were cute, but I agree that the story is without a head or a tail. Still only watching for the chemistry of the actors.
On the record...I love OBros and always will. But they have ruined even the essence of them. Yes they supported each other always, but their scenes had depth coz they never blindly followed the other. They disagree but still stand united. THAT was their specialty. Not acting like whatever they do is right.
The fact is, that ANY of the three of them can be the Father and they have doubts as something happened in each of their lives that it makes this a possibility. None of them have said "I never slept with anyone, so I can't be the Father". So Mystery solved, none of the OBros are virgins.(Not that I ever thought they were). Om had the decency to look embarrassed when Gauri asked him if "Aap shadi se pehele yeh sab..." Ha Gauri, humari Khandani ultra modern millionaire OBros shadi se pehele yeh sab kuch kiya hai. So simple fact any of them can be the Father. Hey NO judgment from my side. Stating facts. None of them are Dhood ka dhula. Aaj kal kaun hai bhai? Seriously!
ALL that aside, they decide they don't want a DNA test? Kahe ko? Like really? You don't want the child to get a "Prick" so you decide not to know who the Father is? Are they idiots? For legal implications they need to know who this child's father is, They can bring her up together. But they still need to do the test! Kids get at least 4 sets of injections before 9 months. Yes, it hurts when you watch your child getting an injection but as a parent, you have to tolerate it. Yes, Shivaay is a big softie, but he should have behaved more practically. Om, what the hell is he thinking? He is married and he at least needs to consult his wife of his decision to be 1 part of a 3 Dad army. Shivaay is divorced and Rudra is not married.
Do these guys care about what their partners think? Shivaay, though divorced is still in love with Annika, so why is he not saying anything to her? Om clearly has feelings for Gauri, asked her to stay and is getting all hesitant and romantic with her. But doesn't bother to ask her if she is OK with him being a Father to a child he may have had before he married her. Rudra likes Bhavya but at least their relationship is not formal. So I understand he's not explaining anything, but it won't hurt if he talks to her about his dilemma. He can barely handle himself, aur yaha Baap bane chala.
Pinky and Gauri? FTW? Tej and Svet trying to kill Jhanvi? Again FTW? I love OBros, but OBahu's today got treated like second class citizens by them which didn't feel good. They need to bring "Depth" back to this story. If this child came to their house and was told it was one of the "Girls" children, and they each covered for the other and said it's ALL three's child, I wonder what the Oberoi's would do? Call all three characterless and ask them to leave! Great Grand Hypocrisy! End of story.
