I love Meghana's feisty character, but I think she has gone a bit too far this time.

CM was misbehaving with Sharada, agreed. But considering this man is the Chief Minister, Meghana could have used other approaches to warn CM instead of straight away slapping him. If slapping was what was needed, Sharada could have done it herself.

Isn't it a punishable offence to slap CM? Won't Meghana get arrested for this?

For Meghna it was not CM. It was a 'Man' who was misbehaving with her mother. Yes slapping CM is an offence. Lets see what happens. In the precap they showed Sharda asking CM to forgive her daughter.

I usually don't connect with meghna much neither i am a big fan of her character but this time i completely support her i can connect with her emotions as a daughter i don't think she gave a damn about the fact that the man who she slapped is chief minister or a common man or if she can be arrested for it
I think this action of her is completely justified cm deserved the slap for acting like a jerk sharda asked him twice to back off but no he was acting all stubborn

The cm needs to understand his limitations if meghna should have thought about his sature then the man himself should have thought about his sature and also respected sharda s decision her privacy

I always find a different way for meghna s action there is always an alternative path but this time no i don't think how can you differently if you see a man misbehaving with your mother

I in meghna s place would have slapped cm too and would not have regretted

I love Meghna's character purely because of her tendency to act like this. I love the fact that she doesn't care if its the CM or a common man but that no one gets to behave that way with her mother and is allowed to get away with it. I think that's meghna's whole character that she's not going to tolerate bad behavior even if it comes from people that she is supposed to respect.

Although I am curious as to why the CM is being shown as a drunk? Even though he misbehaved with Sharda by grabbing her hand.. i want Sharda to be a friend and figure out what has made him behave this way. There is obviously something really bothering him.

I don't really connect with her character much to manner is just one of the most overrated character who most of the times behave like an over confident teenager whose ideas are brilliant but actions are childish which always messes up everything

Maybe its because the environment around me have been filled with intelligent and mature people who knows how to keep calm in difficult situations who know how to take a stand in a calm yet firm voice

I like strong character not weak ones and meghna s impulsive nature her inability to keep calm and act rationally is biggest prove her weak character and being calm and acting in mature manner is quiet a human character i know many people who never bow down to wrong but instead stand up for what is right in firm calm manner

But this time i don't blame her because i would reacted in the same manner and my reaction would not have been out of impulse i would have slapped cm in my full sense

For people to respect him first he should learn to respect somebody s decision and privacy

Even i want to know what has happened to cm all of sudden to behave like he is doing maybe he is love with sharda but something about his past stops him or maybe sharda makes him remind of past

I find Meghna the strongest character on the show because she isn't afraid of disturbing the peace or messing up the status quo. I feel its too easy for people to take the easy way out and try to uphold the peace at the expense of justice. Even if Meghna's messes up sometimes at least she tries... and if you don't try at all the system will never change. I sort of feel like Meghna stands up for her principles... whether they are right or wrong she owns them as hers. She doesn't just follow traditions blindly for the sake of them. There is critical thinking involved. In that way I feel there is more maturity. For me, Naina tires to put bandaids on situations instead of dealing with the root cause and I feel that causes far more harm in the long run.

Anyways I hope they do justice to the CM. I don't want them ruining the character.

holding your own ground keeping calm and at the same time standing up for what is right what is just is much more difficult than acting childish out of impulse
Meghna does nothing apart from messing around i know many people who are extremely real stand up for justice uphold there principle but still can keep calm and not act all childish

Sadly for me holding yourself and finding a path for justice is what i called strong just going around shouting swabhimaan swabhimaan is not

Naina in my opnion has a lot of scope she has many flaws she doesn't understand things much and sometimes act a bit too smart but i see a lot of scope for her to grow as a human i am sure she fall stand up and ultimately grow up into a better person who will take stand for justice will hold her own ground and will not mess around

I disagree.. I just think its so much harder, for women in conservative societies, to make a stand for anything. Its much easier to just abide by the status quo and avoid conflict in order to make your lives easier which is what I feel Naina does.

You may know people in real life.. but I don't know the context of those people's lives to comment. But I can comment on Meghna's saying that her life would be much easier if she didn't react. But would that mean she is standing up for principle? For me its not. I like the fact that Meghna is willing to take risk to stand up for her principles.

I feel like lately its been Naina tossing around the word Swabhiman but without actually standing up for it means. Swabhiman doesn't mean that you can't stay in your sister's office guest house while you are looking for a job. It doesn't mean you can't go back to your maayka if you were ill-treated in your husband's home. But it does mean that when your father in law is saying he's gonna bring another wife for your husband, you stand up and say marriage isn't a game.

What you are saying about Naina is sort of what I feel about Meghna. I feel like they haven't written Naina with any depth and nor do I see the writers planning on giving her depth. She the prototypical tv serial bahu happily doing agnipariksha for her Shiv. But they've given Meghna layers... so there is a lot more scope for her to grow.

she stands up she stands up bas issi main lage raho she stand up she stands up typical meghna fan i dont want to argue about it even if she murders somebody then also meghna fans will shout she stans up she stands up entirely missing out the point that the other person wants to make arre bhai nobody is asking her not to take a stand just want her to use some of her brains

ands as much as i know swabhimaan is story of two sisters so irrespective of what one wants naina get as much importance as meghna

and naina s character is anything but vague the way she helps karan, or the way defended meghna against maasi ma after kunran s fight or the way she defends karan against nk or the way she is always there to hold karan or meghna whenever they fall or the way she wanted to know about the glass piece thing so that she can be alert proves she has many virtues but many flaws to and that her story to grow up into a beautiful woman
