What does it say about these so called "Award" shows when one of the top actresses would rather give it a miss despite being in the same city

for those who will quickly jump and say Anushka doesnt deserve awards for last year... If Katrina (??award for what), Disha Patani (20min debut) , Taapsee Paanu (woman of the year- how?) etc can win awards then surely the most successful actress (box office wise - Sultan n ADHM) of 2016 is worthy of winning something...

if anushka had attended with virat they probably would stolen the limelight... but they showed that they r not bothered. They ditched the awards n instead went sightseeing n enjoyed themselves in NY❤️

Accha hua na she ditched.for such nautanki 👎🏼 at least ritesh n ab jr at IIFA were hit.

They seem to have had a really good time in the little time they had together. Met up with high school friends etc..
so it would have been more valuable to them than playing dress up this time I guess.
I don't hold much stock on BW awards, but it was just their personal choice I'd say where personal time came ahead of professional rather then reading too much into it :)

That was more important for them so they made heir choice
Such awards will come and go but the time spent together will be a good memory
