Star plus used to do it well... They used to show iifa weekend with the whole program - iifa rocks, technical awards, main awards... They used to have lunch and fun events with stars also...

Award shows r becoming redundant anyway. Oh yea, the editing makes things 10x worse..I recall instances where the same person is on stage and sitting in audience simultaneously..LOL

Colors made a huge mistake by making this a Live Event.

They could have shown awards a week later.

And too much of Aalia Bhatt in awards is making it damn boring as if there are no heroines left. Even other celebs were looking bored this time.

Colors should have followed regular schedule of IIFA rocks weekend and then Main Event

Had started to watch but then became too bored
Changed the channel and watched something else

I think IIFA was a live telecast this time. So no editing..

But IIFA is never interesting anway 😛

It was not a live telecast. The award was held the night before, and telecasted in India's time.

It was. The award was held in NYC for all celebrities/fans, then Colors attempted to telecast the award the night after (today). They could've telecasted on the same day or hosted it a week later.
