I am happy to know that there are fans who still miss Saumya just like me. I used to be a silent member as I am quite new to the forum. As a hard core IB fan I never missed an episode or skipped a scene untill bhavya came. When the news about Subha quiting IB came, I felt nothing. But the news of Neha leaving the show was a shock. I love Saumya as much as Rudy. And now its really heartbreaking to skip all his scenes with Bhavya. No offence to the actress. I tried my best to give them a chance but couldnt stand that girl even for 30 seconds. Evey character is important but for me heart of IB is a wonderful gang which includes shivomru, annika, daadi, saahil and Saumya. And when DBO started I have the same feeling and love for Gauri too. There was a magic in Saumya. The way she easily bonded with every others. How she was teasing Annika when Shivaay dropped her in front of the family, the way she danced during Shivika marraige, each and every scene is beautiful. How can the CVs ignore such a brilliant talent. I had tears when Saumya bade good bye to IB. I even forgot that its just a fictional show and she is a fictional character.

This post, this is exactly what's been on my mind.
Saumya was life. Her and Rudra (as individuals also) were life. They brought so much more to Shivaay-Annika and could have brought so much more to Omkara-Gauri.
As a couple, their potential was crazy insane. They had it in them. Those eye locks, those arguments and most importantly those conversations. So much chemistry right there.

I don't even wanna talk about the new girl because I haven't been able to watch her at all. She's so sick and forced. Her scenes, solo or with anyone are a pain. She is a pain even in that ishqbaaz ab ek ghanta promo -_-

I really wish they had given one entire week full of Rudy and Cop. That would give them an idea if they have been "loved".

I felt Saumya's absence too. I hadn't hoped about this thread being on Page 1 or 2 for anyone to see this at all. I like Shivay Anika's story and the brothers. Saumya's absence among them and the presence of a non-relatable character in all scenes is making it a little unpleasant to watch it as a whole.

I miss Soumya and Rudy-Somu were perfect pairing. No idea why writer couldn't write a proper story for them. Strange!!! 🤔

But I guess we have to accept Bhavya opposite Rudy as Gul will not bring Soumya back.
