Hrithik Roshan to play the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's The Immortals Of Meluha adaptation

Apparently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has bought the rights to make a film on Amish Tripathi's best-selling novel, The Immortals of Meluha a retelling of the legend of Lord Shiva. Earlier Karan Johar's Dharma Productions was supposed to make a film on the mythical love story.

The recent updates suggest that finally it's Hrithik Roshan who has been finalised by Bhansali to play the lead role in the movie adaptation of Amish's novel. Apparently, Hrithik will be playing the role of lord Shiva in the film. We are super excited to hear this news but still await an official confirmation from the makers of the movie. Good. Bhansali will do justice to the novel. I was scared when I heard KJo was making it. Who knows what he'd have come up with?! I'm sure KJo would've introduced a tandav dance and played "Shiva on the dance floor'. Oh the horror! 😳

I will believe it when I see the film actually go on the floor. SLB is deep inside Padmavathi and if it is expensive. If it flops for whatever reason, I don't see people giving SLB money for a long time.

The movie is jinxed.

Hrithik is not exciting to watch onscreen anymore..And Shiva is not like ur average central character of an epic.He is epitome of manliness..Even non devotees enjoy how wild,bewildered he is and the destructive nature portrayed.

Especially after ppl falling in love with Prabhas and Baahubali,cant imagine Hrithik in here.Not saying Prabhas is right choice,but someone new and refreshing like him who would suit the role.

ok so Meluha went from Kjo to SLB? ab Jo bhi kare yeh film ban hi jaaye I wish. Meluha will be made into bw- yeh sunte sunte I grown up but still the film is not made yet
