Haha love that you still found something to talk about today 😉.. excluded out everything else that made us get irritated with the episode and highlighted the best part!! 😆 Kitchen scene was the main one which I enjoyed today.. which when isolated from the rest of the michmichi inducing characters and scenes was actually fun to watch! 😆

No idea how soon will they actually address the underlying issues.. I guess we have to go just one episode at a time..which tbh is exhausting sometimes! 😕 As long as the couples (ShivIka including) are working out their issues with the help and support of each other I am fine with it.. I know OmRu will never let Annika leave again if they can help it this time ... they will not repeat the mistake twice
As for Shivvay his is a very different man from the Shivvay we knew during Tia's time... this is SSO for real and fooling him or trapping him may not be that easy

Ahhh! The O'Bro's moments galore today were a balm on my thirsty soul.
And eeat ka jawab cheekh sey was the best strategy Rudy ... nothing like bringing out your partners affectionate and protective side to win this FNP war 😆😉
Pearl, it was another cute episode with plenty of oomph, the hotness of the male quotient making it steam...the kitchen. 😉 Oh Yeah! for sure ... lucky for the other 2 O'Bahu's that OmRu decided to leave after speaking to them from a distance but Annika was not that lucky in that respect. She did end up getting trapped, as she always does, by the 'Bhagad Billa' who is almost certain that Annika ko FPH from his proximity 😆😳 Not long now before his will be sure that 'Aag dono taraf barabar lagi hai" ... 😉

His 'damakedar' birthday ended up being a 'cake fight' and a big splash.

You sneezed and that was cause enough for the effect of Bhavvya needing to look after you, the winning or losing of the FNP games forgotten. Of course he could not eat the ice cream or else something other than Bhavvya would catch him and that was not even an option ... 😆dy
His, "nahi... nahi .. patthar sey dengey ... kya O?' was as usual fabulous ... give the man a warm hug for just being himself please 🤗He is after all soaking wet and putting on a brave face 😃
Rudy's bday was a dhamakedaar one in many ways, only he does not see it that way now. In the kitchen or with Om, shivering all pretence dropped...offering to share a hot shower...was too funny. As was his offer of a hug to OmShi. No takers..should have asked Bhavya instead. ha! ha! ... true that ... Bhavvya is used to the cold water from the trenches, toh Rudy baby would have scored better with her than with his 'bhaiya's' 😉

Om a.k.a Jatadhari Nandi: (as he has been baptised now)

His 'chirayya' is getting comfortable in her place with him now. It was very nice to see her have the upper hand after all these months of her compromising.
So 'nandi' ... ahem !! sorry ... Om has an aversion to sweet things??!! But then he would not need to eat any sweets anyways with a wife as sweet as his ... lol 😉
Om does not like sweets and ate nariyal laddoes that were made by buama. His secret aversion to sweets was out then, so Gauri knows her nandi very well. She knows Nandi well and understands how to make Nandi charge as well 😉 Kahan he was a peaceful, calm and slow to anger Om - aur ab 'pyaar usey kis mood pe le aaya' ...lol 😆

We need to stop 'taddaowing' the wife so openly you know if we want to keep up the Game Face. The 'cheekh' on cue with 'Badey Bhaiya' from Gauri was enough to gear the FNP wife into action ..lol Her concern and her look was all it took for the man to gauge how much 'Fark' was being felt
The whole look changed once the girls left and the 'Flirt Singh Oberoi' was not going to miss this opportunity that was literally handed to him. No reaction to her saying 'Kanji Aakhen' I noticed ...lol
The whole scene there was enough to light the kitchen on fire 😳
You guys need to get a room and stop romancing in the OM kitchen. We have little children getting very scandalized by it (PinGini) 😆
Poor Billu...had to get an eyeful of his wife after ages...he is feeling alive now..so he has haq on taadoowing his wife, who else but him has that haq. Flirty singh oberoi was out in full gear and did not feel cold at all...his wife's presence made him heated...from the inside out. This scene was scorching hot... Shivika...amazing. I swear Nimmy those two can light the screen on fire just with their flirting ... I could see sparks flying and electric charges around them I swear 🤣 🤣 That man so obviously needs to find every excuse to touch and hold his wife since the cake cutting happened ... there is no turning back now because we know how addicted that man is to his 'Annika' responding to him

As for the little kids..they will get such shocks if they peep in, uninvited...guests that they are to the party. 🤣 They will get more scandalized in the days to come. I do hope that these 'peeping Toms' disappear before the real romance starts 😉

I know ... I watched the the movie again just because of that song and then thought of ShivIka when Amitab sang 'dil bar mere" to Hema imagining Shivvay singing that to Annika ... hayeee!! how cool that would be ❤️

Asya, I love how you picked the most fun bits to focus on, to be fair it was another very fun episode. I think it's a smart move to keep it light and frothy for the most part and give the audience a chance to root for all of the pairings - the couples, the OBros, the OBahus, the trios/duo of Ishq enablers - and ease the DBO cast into the IB mix. It's also no small matter to have the audience mentally geared for 45 minutes of the show. Love and laughter is a good way to keep the audience engaged and persuade them that this is a paisa vasool investment of their late hour.
Absolutely and this bonding and mixing of the O'Bahu's as sis-in-laws and wives/partners of brothers is the perfect thing to do ... this is Team Jr. O's forming and I for one believe in the strength of Family seeing couples through bad times ... these 6 need to be such a tight formation (in Bhavvya's terms) that the enemy should not be able to penetrate them. The next one week of this bonding, understanding, solving and sorting out the other couples issues will in turn bring the couples themselves together.
ShivIka is not perfect couple and hence is not above help right now or even in the future. Every marriage needs positive external support, nurturing, reinforcement, interference and encouragement from time to time and ShivIka are no different. These two forgot how to live for themselves because they were busy living only for their Family (mostly his) and no one (in fact not even Dadi) encouraged and nurtured this need for them to just be a couple sometimes.
Everyone took it for granted and assumed that ShivIka would work out whatever came in their marriage and weather their marriage problems and Family storms without any help or support from the elders. Frankly it is very disheartening to see that not a single Sr. Oberoi ever took the effort to check if the couple was doing fine.

There are many times younger ones need to step in and take charge of the elders relationships if they feel that it is needed at that stage and I am glad to see that ShivIka will bloom again because of these younger ones. They will do what the elders in the house failed to do and Kudos to them for fixing ShivIka for once. Annika was right. Shivvay fixes everyones problems but no one cares to fix Shivvay's

I always had issues that ShivIka worked alone through the problems - be it their own or the Family ones the faced. I feel part of their relationship issues also stemmed from bearing all the burden alone with no one really caring whether these two were managing fine in their private lives. I rejoiced when Gauri bonded during the MS and saw a ray of hope for someone being there to make sure the Bade Bhaiya and Bhaujieji also needed support sometimes. Now that Bhavvya has joined them this trio of couples will be each others much needed support group as it should be with brothers and their wives

As the main plots kick in from next week onward (or at least I hope they do, we need some substance too!) I hope the team makes use of the natural chemistry between the cast. Three separate love stories with a motley crew of crazy villains would be a waste of the talents of the ensemble. For example I think Shrenu and Nakuul have terrific chemistry and even the small scenes they've been in so far have been very endearing. I'm longing to see more interaction between them, their bade bhaiyya- choti behen dynamic is lovely. Yes! Shrenu has a fantastic chemistry with NM for sure ... I for one was so happy that she has been shown to trust Shivvay, confide and lean on him so much, just as Annika does with Om ... and just like Annika holds Om in high esteem the same way she holds Shivvay in high esteem ... she is also less terrified of Shivvay and even manages to tease him ... her smile today was so adorable when he was ranting on about Annika

It would be worthwhile to have Mansi and Kunal play off each other and see if there is a natural alliance there between Bhavya and Om. So far Mansi's Bhavya has been serviceable but she hasn't struck a major chord with me. Perhaps time and more opportunities for interaction will change that. Anika and Rudra of course have been natural allies for a long time. Yeah! hopefully they give her more growth ... filling Neha's shoes is a tall order .. I am willing to give her a chance as well and anyways it seems the cast is set now

I hope the show continues to be this entertaining and spurs you to share your thoughts - I love reading your take. 👏👏 lol ... I hope so too
