And airports in BW movies are so spacious, clean look almost luxurious

Even the train station are so noise free 😛 Hero yells "I luv u" from 100 ft and the girl comes running towards him

What grinds my gears is the friendly airport security officer who waves the hero right through -- somehow the pilot is always doing pre flight inspection and hero gets to board the flight just in time while heroine recognizes her true love and alights the aircraft without even her baggage being off loaded. And here I am always getting the friendly rubber glove treatment by TSA.
