About KTLK, I stopped watching when MB left. No offence or hate to Sharad lekin woh kehte hai na ekbaar attachment ho jaaye to change accha nahi lagta.

was going through the posts.. i really miss KTLK..
the basic storyline is thoda sa same .. still AshNi and ArMu are so different. I love them both .. ❤️

I watched little bit of KTLK and mohnish behl and Kritika looked awkward together. the story revolved around a may to december romance, but I felt uncomfortable watching them together. by contrast, I don't feel any discomfort while watching Mukhi and aru romance.

Btw..Violette...Farmaan is an all time favourite and Kashish also I loved...but I guess, I literallly drooled over Kanwaljeet Singh then...such handsomeness man!! Kanwaljeet then led me to wach him again in Saans...much later though. But Farmaan...nothing can beat that romance!! Even though Dhoop-Kinarey today may look a little dated...Farmaan still retains that charm, I believe!!

I loved both! While Farman is there on YouTube, I searched for Kashish in all possible places, but could never find it.

Today's generation know Sudesh Berry as that hamming actor who plays various (mostly villainous) roles and can act well given a chance.

For 90s girls he was Rahul from Kashish. And his popularity helped him get a role (i remember all of the girls in my school used to drool on him) in a film called "Vansh". The films was based on a film made by none other than Mani Ratnam. (Agni Natchathiram)

By the way, the director/producer on Doordarshan (Meena Vaishnavi) who made Kashish was responsible for at least two other shows which were very popular and were based on famous novels.

"Shwetambara" which was based on "Woman in White" and "Trishna" which was based on "Pride and Prejudice"!

Such wonderful memories.

Story and characterization tanked from the beginning so it didn't matter who got replaced for me.. I just watched it for kritika and for lack of better shows with slight hope in heart...

Agreed Sharad completely changed ashutosh character... and the story change d drastically... Thr was nothing dhoop kinarey abt ktlk...

Made him younger so that he cud romance the lead with out looking odd... Like eijaz does here... He made sizzling pair with kritika.. bt I disliked his boring character..

Also I had watched dhoop kinarey on binge... And have to agree it was from different era and for different viewers..

It didn't get successful ly translated into ktlk..

Lucky that ktlk survived that long😆
