need experts help regarding Devakshi divorce

Plz can someone explain me...did they ever get divorced or not.. .bz as far as I remember before leap they both signed on divorce paper so why they are calling themselves husband and wife Now ...and if they never got divorced then how Dev was getting engaged with someone else...

There was a thread here in IF where people where talking about legal separation and all.. that was posted recently when Sona moved to dixit house.

But my understanding is - they never got divorced.. in anger Sona took out her mangalsutra and put it in the fire!!

Since their separated since 7 yrs.. the law says they could automatically get divorced due to being separated for so long, and they can choose to marry anyone else if they wish ... but also if they want they can come back together as there is nothing in writing or divorce papers filed as such !

I think they will show a small Mandir wedding where Dev puts the mangalsutra back on ... or even Sindoor because they have talked about remarriage later

They signed, to be precise Sonakshi signed on prenup papers not divorce papers before leap. N cvs never showed their divorcee. They called each other exes, bcz for them their relationship was over when Sona throw her mangalsutra in fire.

N abt Dev getting engaged n Sona- Jotin marriage talks, i have no idea. Itna bhi i have understood very painfully.
