Hello, Good Morning, Sasriyakal!
This is Yuvika on CC TV welcoming you all to the 20 -20 friendly cricket match held between the Mumbai Indians and India forums team. It's a hot sunny day at Wankhede stadium and the teams are getting ready for the toss. It has been declared that Mumbai Indians team would be playing under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar while India Forums will be captained by the Global Moderator, I mean their prominent leader Mango. Let's welcome the captains for the toss.
Audience cheer and scream as Sachin enters the ground. He waves to them and smiles an ever charming smile. He greets the umpire and looks at his left side for the other captain to toss the coin.
Loud cheers for the India Forums Captain Mango who has joined us in the toss. She looks a little tensed as Sachin shakes his hand with her. And we are going for the toss. Sachin flips the coin as Mango watches his face. Everyone looks at Mango's face to hear heads or tails but she seems to be lost somewhere. The umpire shakes her from her reverie and she shouts 'Heads'.
Heads it is! IF team has won the toss. Mango grins at Sachin gesturing she would like to bat first. Sachin is quite amused and wishes her the best. The captains and umpire disperse as they have to get ready for the match.
Clean bowled! Next wicket falls for India Forums and the score is 57/6 after 10 overs all thanks to the batting skills of the wicket keeper and opening batsmen they could reach till 57. Back in the stands the team is pursuing the captain to bat. Mango seems to be unwilling as she refuses to hear her team members.
Its half an hour after the first innings, IF scored 65/9 , Captain Mango showed her skills by hitting a boundary in the last ball, a catch which got dropped by Hardik. Lets see how the Mumbai Indians give back to the team.
Sachin Tendulkar is on the crease. Mango is standing at the backward square leg. Sachin pulls the ball to the square. Oh! Mango missed it. The ball has travelled to the boundary. It was an easy catch. Mango is surrounded by her team mates with disappointment. Let's see the replay. Sachin pulls it off and the camera shows how Mango is watching him bat and she didn't expect the sudden flight of the ball towards her and bang she missed it! That was a very precious miss!
That's the end of the match. Sachin hits the ball off the ground for a six. An easy win for Mumbai Indians. Many hits and misses, no balls and misfields in this innings. Though Mango's team is amateur they have put a great effort to pull it off. After all it's against the God of Cricket. A proud moment for the team captain Mango who gets wished by the man himself. Her happiness seems to be uncontrollable as Sachin side hugs her for putting up a good show.
After having a long chat with Sachin, Mango turns around to face her team who is staring at her for making the match so easy for the opponents. She understands how she got diverted by Sachin's presence and pouts at her team. The entire team bursts into laughter and the Mumbai Indians team enters the ground with cakes, balloons and party poppers. Loud cheers and claps reverberate in the Wankhede stadium.
Sachin stands beside Mango and asks her to cut the cake. This is a moment of pride and bliss for Mango. Her favourite cricketer is celebrating her birthday with her. The best moment of her life which she can never forget.
