Mr bhalla went out of Ishra room leaving ishita to think, think about raman and the pain he went through which make him such stone hearted.
Ishita -kya papa ji sahi keh rahe hai. Kya sach much raman achche hai, kya main unhe galat samajh rahi hoon yaa papa ji bas aise hi bol rahe the. Is raman really in pain yaa, dekhne se toh nahi lagte, he is just too akdu and rude.kya sach mein Raman, no no he can't be in pain, infact he can give everyone pain .moreover why I will think of him, hamari shaadi toh sirf ruhi ke liye hui hai. And see here I am thinking so much about him and Mr akdu is not at home yet.mujhe kya, I am going to sleep. Waise bhi I am just too much tired to think anything. She said to herself and changed to sleep.
Later at night, ishita was sleeping in their room alone when her sleep broke due to some noise. Ishita got up and looked around looking from where the noise is coming and realised its coming from somewhere else.
Ishita-itni raat ko kaun aa gaya,let me check, saying so she got up to check and saw raman was trying to take out bottle of water from the fridge, he was heavily drunk ,trying hard to open the bottle cap but every time the bottle was slipping from his hand.
Ishita was shocked to see Raman.he was heavily drunk and was falling here and there.
Ishita-today is our first day of marriage and this man is heavily drunk. Didn't he has any sense of responsibility. I wish I don't have to marry him but what to do, I had to do this for Ruhi. She was thinking when she saw Raman was about to fall. She ran to him to hold him before he fall. She hold raman and said-raman, please aap baith jaiye, main paani deti hoon aapko. She said making him sit.
Raman looked at ishita thourougly and said-tum, tum kaun ho, oh tum toh ishita ho.
Ishita-haan main ishita hi hoon. Sit down I am giving u water.
Raman-ok ,I am sitting, but wait, what u r doing in my house.he said making a confused face making ishita stunned.
Ishita-this man is something, he don't even remember that we got married today. She was saying when Raman said-oh yes,i remember, we got married today. But humne toh shaadi Ruhi ke liye ki hai, go and take care of ruhi. Oh Ruhi toh hai nahi, then go and sleep. Why u r worried for me. See ishita, we got married for Ruhi, u r not bounded to take any care of me. Tum please jao yaar. Mujhe kisi ki zarurat, kisi ki bhi nahi. He said angrily making ishita angry too.
Ishita put the glass on the table with loud noise and said-toh baitho raho yahin, raat bhar paani nikalne ki koshish karte hue. I am going. She said in anger and was going when she heard him saying-haan sab jao, sab mujhse dur jao. Sab apni duniya mein mast raho, busy raho, Raman bhalla ko kisi ki zarurat nahi, kisi ki bhi nahi.nobody loves me, no-one cares for me, He said crying while ishita turned to him hearing his words and was stunned to see him so vulnerable.
Ishita went close to him and said-raman aap ro rahen hai.
He wiped his tears and said-nahi ,Main nahi ro raha, main sach nahi ro raha. He said trying to wipe his tears which were flowing continuously.
Ishita hold one of his tears and showed him.
Raman -yeh paani hai, mere aankhon mein kuch chala gaya hai. And why u r still standing here.told u to go naa. Mujhe kisi ki zarurat nahi hai, kisi ki bhi nahi. He said sitting on the floor.
Ishita couldn't stop herself from sitting next to him and asked-kya hua raman, why u r crying.
Raman came near to her and said keeping his head on her shoulder -why u r asking, no-one cares for me. Tum bhi mat karo care. I don't want anyone's care. He was saying while his hands were wrapped around her crying his heart out and holding her for support.
Ishita want to shrug his hand off her but couldn't do it as he was feeling so alone and low. He was just crying holding ishita tight, slowly he get down and adjusted his head in her lap.
Ishita was just looking at him with moist eyes while he was laying keeping his head on her lap like a small baby cried for his mother's warmth and finally got it.
Ishita wasn't understanding what is wrong with her, why she is sitting with him in kitchen, on the floor in mid of the night leaving her sleep. She tried to go but she didn't have a heart to leave him alone while he was just laying on her lap peacefully.
After sometime when ishita thought that he slept, he said-she didn't let me meet her.
Ishita-huh, kuch kaha aapne.
Raman -usne mujhe meri bachchi se milne nahi diya. She throw me out of her house and said she will snatch my Ruhi from me forever. Aisa nahi hona chahiye, mujhse koi please meri ruhi ko mat chino. I can't live without my baby, woh Ruhi ko mujhse nahi chin payegi naa. He asked innocently looking at ishita.
She nodded in no.
Raman smiled seeing her assuring -hum log Ruhi ko Shagun se le liya jayega. We will take her home. Aur agar woh judge ruhi hume nahi de rahi hogi naa toh tum ladh lena usse, u remember the way u fight with me that day in radio station, waise hi ladh lena. Toh phir woh hume hamari ruhi de degi. He said making a baby face while ishita couldn't help but smile.
Seeing her not replying anything raman asked-u will fight naa, for my Ruhi, our Ruhi. He said looking at her.
Ishita-yes, we will fight for our Ruhi.
Raman -tum ladhna,tum jkr ho naa, u fight for good. Main toh raavan hoon, I fight unnecessarily. Yunhi ho toh kehti ho main akdu hoon, rude hoon. Toh tum ladh lena, OK.
Ishita nodded and he finally closed his eyes feeling satisfied while ishita was just looking at him. How hurt and sad he was and her just one assurance relaxed him like anything.
Ishita-really I effect him so much, she said to herself only to hear, I told u naa.
She looked at the person and saw mr bhalla was standing there.
Ishita-papa ji aap.
Mr bhalla -i came here to take raman inside. He came home everyday at this time and sleep here only. Everyday I took him to his room. Everyday he sleep here crying for Ruhi ,this is not the first time Shagun did this with me.raman roz jaata hai Ruhi se milne but woh milne nahi deti. I am a father, I know how much it hurts when u can't see ur child. I just hope raman ki yeh takleef jaldi khatam ho jaaye. But I am happy that he is not alone anymore, u r with him now.he said smiling while ishita was just silent not knowing what to say.
Mr bhalla went to Ishra and both took raman inside the room and make him sleep comfortably on the bed. He slept covering much of the space on the bed.
Mr bhalla went and ishita slept on the couch not getting any place on the bed.
Next morning, ishita opened her eyes only to see Raman all ready wearing his suit and combing his hair.
Raman -uth jao, today is the date. Sone ke liye shaadi nahi ki hai humne.remember.
Ishita made a dirty face and said-remember, do u remember what u did.
Raman -bakwaas bandh karo and get ready, we r getting late. He said and went out of the room.
Ishita-get ready, we r getting late, raavan Kumar Kahin ka. Aisa ehsaanphramosh insaan toh dekha nahi maine, yesterday he was crying in my lap aur aaj dekh lo, pakka raavan Kumar hai. She was murmuring when she heard-mujhe gaali dena bandh karo aur ready ho.
Ishita bite her tongue and went to washroom.
After an hour, all were in the court waiting for ashgun and Ruhi.
Soon they come, Raman told ishita to hide herself till the proceedings start saying, he don't want to give them any chance this time. Ishita too agreed and went to the car.
Soon their case was called, Raman called ishita and went inside. Ishita was going when amma called her.
Inside the court ,the proceedings started.
Judge -so Ruhi beta, with whom u want to live.
Ruhi looked at Raman while her eyes was searching for ishita. Raman assured her that ishita is coming and Ruhi said-i want to live with my mumma.
Ashgun got happy hearing this when judge asked-aap papa ke saath nahi rehna chahte.
Ruhi-i want to live with him too, Main apne mumma papa ke saath rehna chahti hoon.
Judge -but ur parents r divorced beta.
Ruhi-i want to live with my papa and ishita mumma. She said looking at ishita who just entered the court room.
Everyone turned to ishita and ashgun were shocked to see her with marriage symbols.
Judge-miss ishita iyer??
Raman -no ur honour, Mrs Ishita Raman Kumar bhalla .he said in attitude making ashgun shocked.
Raman's lawyer presented their marriage certificate and said-theh r married now, and Ruhi will get a loving and caring atmosphere in her house. So now I think custody should be given to Mr and Mrs Raman kumar bhalla .
Shagun -no, I want my baby, Ruhi Aap mumma ke saath rehna chahte ho naa.
Ruhi nodded in no and said-i want to live with my ishita mumma. She said and went running to ishita and hugged her tight.
Ishita too hugged her back and kissed her temple and said-dont cry betu, see mumma papa is here.
Ruhi went to raman and hugged him too. Raman too hugged her tightly while tears made their way down his cheek which he wiped away in a jiffy so that no-one could see it but ishita was quick enough to notice it.
Judge -so as per, ruhi's will, her custody is given to Mrs Ishita Raman Kumar bhalla. She said making ishraruh happy while ashgun angry.
