Background:- A few days after the Sangeet, Oberois are Happy People.😆
(And After The Failed First Night Attempt, Of Course)
Anika over the phone-"Tu pakka sure hai...Maa bane waali hai..! Main kitni khush hoon...Main Maa si bane waali hoon.! Arey Nahi...3 months tak kisi ko nahi bataungi!"
Rudra who was passing by overhears, to himself -"Oh My God..! Anika Bhabhi Maa bane waali hai...Bhaiya...Paapa Bane Waale hai...ye log wo waali level tak pahunch bhi gaye! Wo sab chodo main Chaachu Bane Waala Hoon... ! O My God...ye toh breaking news hai..!" He runs excitedly. If only he had heard the "sii" that followed the "Maa".
He ran all along the corridor, looking for the people of the house who seemed to have disappeared. Lost in his thoughts he bangs into Pinky.
Pinky-"Rudra, sambhal ke chal... Bhaag kyun raha hai...kisi pe gir wir gaya toh uski toh on spots Oh My Mata ho jaani hai..! Bacha nahi hai tu!" She exclaimed, setting her dupatta right.
"Arey wahi toh kehne wala thaa main, main ab baccha nahi raha ...Naya Sadyasa aane wala hai Oberoi Family mein...main Chaachu bane waala hoon, aur aap Daadi..! Main sab ko bata ke aata hoon!" He almost sang merrily and ran away. Pinky looked dazed. She knew it couldn't be Anika and Shivaay, after all she literally kept a watch on them.
"Iska MATLAB Omkara, Gauri...itni jaldi..! Iss Anika ke chakar mein Mera Shivaay ka waaris ...!" She started grumbling to herself.
She walked down the corridor lost in her thoughts, when she banged into Omkara who was smiling, at his recent encounter with Gauri, he hadn't accepted her wholely, but she had already started making a place for herself in his heart.
"Ohoo...mera Om...aaj kal bada kush hai haan? " she smiled teasing him to which he grinned, if only she knew the recent hilarious scene Gauri had pulled off in his presence.
"Ab toh thoda sambhal kar chal, aur ab toh Teri duties doubles hone waali hai, Ab toh tu Papa bhi bane waala hai!!"
He smiled and nodded, and then suddenly froze digesting her words."Kya!?" He shouted more than he asked.
"Kya, kya, aisi baatein chupaaye nahi chup tii! Jaa Gauri ka dhyaan rakh main abhi Babaji se Pooja ki baat karke aati hoon.!" She left him dumbfounded.
"How is it even possible? " Agreed that they had spent a few close moments but that was mere touch of hands and the other when he had prevented her from slipping. He thought in all directions. Did she give him spiked milk again! ? Of course not, she wouldn't do something like that, !! But then... He had to clear things. How could she be pregnant!?
Rudra barged into Prinku's room who was smiling and talking to Ranveer over the phone, which Rudra failed to note. He twirled her around, as a result of which her mobile fell to the bed nearby, she looked at Om shocked.
"Prinku, ab hum dono iss garh mein sab se chote nahi rahe, hum se bhi chota koi aa raha hai!!" He almost screamed excitedly, loud enough for the voice to reach to Ranveer who had almost freaked out at the sudden sound. Ranveer looked confused.
Prinku excitedly-"Sach!?"
Rudra-"Much!"
Prinku quickly picked up the phone and told Ranveer she would call him later as she was busy. He looked confused.
"Lekin...kaun?" Prinku asked confused.
Rudra-"Ye bhi koi poochne ki baat hui, iss Garh mein har jagah Ishqbaazi kis ki chal Rahi hai..?"
She was still confused."Aap teenon ki!"
Rudra turning his face-"Very funny! Anika Bhabhi Maa bane waali hai!" He said almost dancing.
Prinku clapped excitedly, "Main abhi Bhaiya ko congratulate kar ke aati hoon!"
Rudra-"Aur main Baaki sab ko bata ke aata hoon! "
As Prinku walked up the stairs to Shivaay's study, she met Bua Maa on the way up, seeing her smiling widely she asked her the reason.
Prinku grinning, "Wo Bhaiya , Papa Bane Waali hain main Bhaiya ko hi wish karne jaa rahi hoon!"
Bua Maa who had met, Omkara upstairs thought she was speaking of Omkara, and her happiness knew no bounds.
"Main unse mil ke aati hoon.!" She ran up.
Bua Maa excitedly goes down humming a song. She meets Gauri who was still blushing at the encounter she had with Om almost forty minutes back. She giggled remembering how the two of them had cracked up.
"Aaj Mausam Hai Suhaana,
Gauri me khush Hone Ka Diya hai Bahana,
Ahaan ahaan ahaan!" She sang.
Gauri shrugged smiling. "Aap bhi aaj bahut khush hai, Aaj hum bhi bahut khush hai...isi baat pe HarHaraaiye Ke Hai-Fai...!" She said giving bua Maa a high-five.
"Oberoi Mansion Ke Aangan Me Naanha-Munna Mehmaan Aayega..! O I m so Happy...! I will just be back...!" She said kissing Gauri on the forehead and hurriedly walking away.
"Nanhaa-Munaa Mehmaan!? Ee kiski baat kar rahi thii, aur hummein chumi de kar kyun gayi?" She spoke out loud itching her head. As far as she knew, Anika had been running away from Shivaay since past few days, she had noticed it herself. Prinku? But wasn't it to early for Prinku to be pregnant? She frowned thinking.
Bua Maa rushes into Jaanvi's room and holds her hands twirling around with her. "I m so Happy Jaanvi...Tu aur Pinky Daadi Baane waali hai, Main Par-Daadi..! Oye hoye, I m so Happy...! Main meethe ka intezaam karti hoon..!" Chirping as merry as a bird she left.
Jaanvi smiled. She was so happy for Shivaay and Anika. She sighed wondering when Om would have a moment like that. Her son had just started to not hate his wife, Falling in love with his wife seemed a long process for him.
She made her way to the couple's room to congratulate the couple. She entered the room to find Shivaay on a call. Smiling she waited for him to end the call. "Badi Maa Aap!?" He said pleasantly surprised. She holds his hands and hugs him. 'I m so Happy for you and Anika, Shivaay..! You guys deserve all the happiness.! " Shivaay's smile faded as a expression of bafflement appeared. What was the older lady speaking of?
Smiling at him, she spoke-"I know at the beginning, its all weird but trust me the journey will be beautiful!"
Shivaay was loosing it, it wasn't their anniversary, wasn't any special occasion so why all of a sudden did she speak like that. What was she speaking of, ahem, was she speaking of...Did Anika tell her about their first night debate or something?
"And you should take care of Anika, she is going to get cranky at times but you have to put up with all of it, Ok? During Omkara, I was very sceptical, Anika bhi ho sakti hai, so just be by her. Alright.?" Tapping his cheek gently she left.
He blinked twice. Wondering whether his ears heard right? Was he dreaming? Here he was trying to take their relationship a step up and it had already climbed up by two steps. All by itself. "Phat The Wuck!" He sat bewildered on the bed. Had he suffered a memory loss? Did Anika hit him on the head with her Chameli? Correction, Chinki, Her new slipper. Or wait did she push, okay, kick, him out of bed and did he hit his head somewhere, forgetting the night!? He rubbed the back of his hair. "Yeh Ho Kya Raha Hai!?" Every damn time, he had a kid coming and he dint know how.? He had to speak to Anika.
Grinning, happy for her friend Anika walked down the corridor, deciding the song for her dance performance on her friend's God-bharai. Lost in her thoughts she banged into Rudra, knocking down his phone. He at once caught her hand, shocked. "Bhaabhi aap theek toh hain naa...sambhal ke chalna chaiye naa...aap aisa kijiye aap yahan baithiye...main aapke liye paani laat hoon.!"
"Arey Arey, Rudra..! Main abhi jawaan hoon, budhii nahi hui, relax karo...aur wo tumhe dehke chalna chaiye...! Mera toh chalta rehta hai aise...Bang Bang..!"
Rudra raising his eyebrows comically, "bas aaj se aap apna khyal rakhengi...aur aap iss garh ki Badi bahu hai...toh aap pe aur zyada responsibility hai, !" He said in a teasing tone. "Aur chote Mehmaan ka khyal toh aapko hi rakna hoga ab...wo Maa aur Choti Maa ki age bhi hogayi hai...toh single handedly aapko sab karna hoga..!"
Rudra realized that his phone had fallen. He picked it up, "ok Milte hai phir bye.!" He smiled at Bhaabhi. "Khayal Rakhiya Apna Bhaabhi..Maine aapke liye imli mangwaai hai...bas aati hi hogi...main check karke aata hoon!" He said grinning.
Anika looked confused. "Nanhaa -Mehmaan? Imli? Maa ki age nahi rahi? Ye bol kya raha hai? O bete ki...Pinky aunty?? Nahi nahi...! Gauri?? Priyanka?? O bete ki...Kahin Chanda ne isse bhi toh nahi bata diya...? Lekin Rudra Chanda ko Jaanta hai? Nahi..toh kaun? " She followed him to the hall for clarifying things.
Priyanka descended down the stairs, Her Bhaiya was not to be seen anywhere.
Saumya enters the Oberoi Mansion, smiling with a box of sweets in hand. She had assumed that Jaanvi aunty was pregnant, she had worked out the logic for almost half an hour. She had only heard Rudracsay Naya Mehmaan, Junior Oberoi aa raha hai. Anika and Gauri din't hold a chance cause Rudra had been informing her about the fights. She was way aware about Prinku's life. Hence it left her with Pinky and Jaanvi aunty. Jaanvi Aunty had just patched up with Tej Uncle so it held a good chance.At first she was unable to accept it scientifically, but after reading a few research papers, she was convinced. Poor Rudra at his age he was going to be a brother to a toddler. But how excited the Trio would be, a new brother was going to join the Obros..! She smiled, as she walked in.If the Mansions walls were humans they would have been popularly called "Mad.!"
She saw Jaanvi aunty sitting in the living hall and flipping through the pages of a magazine. She went up to her and greeted her in the evergreen chirpy voice.
She gave the bouquet she was holding, to her "Congratulations Aunty..!" She said opening the box of sweets.
Jaanvi quite taken aback was pleasantly surprised, the news had spread like wild fire, even Saumya who had just returned from Australia knew it.!!
Jaanvi smiled greeting her. She made her sit and started conversing about her flight. She rose to take a call, Saumya who was admiring the new statue went on speaking, thinking she was still present. Tej who happened to be walking down the right corridor saw Saumya speaking to NoOne. Amused he went closer to hear what she was saying. "...Its actually quite okay. Infact, according to a research, conducted by the Crazy Scientists Of CaliCona fifty is the limit and you are intact 47, so its okay, don't worry the kid and you both will be fine.!" Tej felt the floor beneath him slip, unable to even move he stood there rooted beside the pillar eyes wide in shock as though he had seen a ghost.
Kamini enters the mansion, greeting a loud Hello, only to realise there was barely anyone in the living hall. She kept quite, like nothing had happened, so embarrassing to talk to air.
Only then Pinky made her way to the Hall, Shivaay came down the stairs followed by Prinku close behind. Omkara descended from the rear stair case behind Gauri. Shakti made his way to the hall from the temple. Jaanvi came back from the kitchen with Anika close behind. While Rudra the only merry soul, entered from the rear entrance of the mansion, chewing a little bit of emli, and carrying a big container.
All looked at each other shocked.
"Arey wah, sab apne aap assemble ho gaye...kya timing hai..!" Said Rudra smiling wide.
"Arey wah sab ke Sab saath saath!" Came the cheerful voice of Daadi who had just returned from her Tirupati trip.
"Daadi...!" Rudra exclaimed excitedly. "Arey ...breaking news hai Breaking news...Oberoi Mansion Mein Ek Nanhaa-munhaa Junior Oberoi aane waala hai..! " he hugged daadi.
Daadi grinned excitedly-"Kaun!?"
Bua Maa also had now entered the hall. All stood on the hall, a few happy faces while others confused.
"Anika Bhabhi!" "Gauri" "Jaanvi Aunty" "Pinky Ji!"
Came the voices simultaneously.
All looked shocked from one face to another.
Daadi holding her head-"Iss Gary mein ho kya raha hai?"
Rudra scratched his head, his expression animatedly shocked, "Kitne aa rahe hain?"
Om and Shivaay looked shocked at each other then nodded in a no turning their gaze to their fathers, who nodded in a No so vigorously, that they would be killed if they dint.
Saumya-"Duffer...you told me Jaanvi Aunty..!"
Jaanvi almost choked at that-"What!?" Saumya nods that's why I gave you the bouquet.
Prinku-"Nahi Nahi..Anika Bhaabhi Maa bane waali hai!" Shivaay gulped wide eyed, looking at Anika.
Bua Maa-"Arre Yeh tu kya bol rahi hai...tune toh kaha thaa...Omkara baap banee Waal hai..!"
Pinky-"Haan..!"
Kamini poked her nose-"Oh Mujhe Laga Pinky Ji...!" She said and trailed her voice, Shivaay's eyes grew still wider as he tried looking composed.
"Oh My Mata;" pinky whispered holding her head at the thought.
Rudra's headvwas spinning now, to make worse his brothers hit him at the back of his head, asking him to explain.
Making a cry baby face he spoke-"Anika Bhabhi Maa bane waali hai!"
Anika lost it at that. And Shivaay froze looking at Anika. "Rudra, tumne Shivaay ka jhoota khaya kya, tum paagalon jaisi baatein kyun Kar rahe ho, Om who was now standing beside Gauri suppressed a giggle at Anika's comment.
" Bhaabhi, ab itna bhi kya sharmaana or surprise is out...! Ab jaldi se sabko bata dijiye ..!" Rudra said giving a lopsided grin. Shivaay nodded in a NO. Anika smacked Rudra on the head-"Aisa ho hi nahi sakta...!"
"Exactly! " Shivaay stressed on the word standing beside Anika. Realising a second later he shouldn't have said it. Pinky gave a knowing look.
Rudra- "lekin aap abhi abhi toh Aapki friend ko bata rahi thii..!"
Shivaay looked at Anika for an explanation.
"Acha wo...wo...!" She said unsure whether to tell others or not, she had assured her friend she wouldn't let the news out.
"Wo kya Anika...?" Shivaay asked, still unsure.
Rudra danced his eyebrows up and down. "Wo Meri Dost Maa Bane Waali Hai!"
Relief washed over the faces of the Oberois.
Daadi-"Iska Matlab, humaare Parivaar mein Maya sadsya nahi aayega..! ?" Daadi said her excitement meeting the sand.
"Khoteyaa..!" She cursed Rudra hitting him on the head. Jaanvi went away embarrassed with Tej who gave her knowing smirks. Teasing her.
Pinky glared at Kamini who was checking out Shaktiji. And pulled Shakti inside. Ranveer bid bye to Kamini and followed Prinku to her room.
Omkara and Gauri were busy having an eye-lock, oblivious of the eyes of the remaining Oberois still present in the hall. Anika picked up the imli from the container Rudra was holding, and looked on at Omkara and Gauri. She was joined by Saumya. Rudra was grinning looking at his O lost in his ChulBul Bhaabhi. While Shivaay still looked at Anika animatedly eating the imli, suspiciously. He went beside her and whispered something in her ears that made the blood rushed to her face as she blushed profusely. She froze, the imli in her hand forgotten, her eyes wide she turned towards him and gave him the You-Are-Such-A-Cheapde Stare. He grinned naughtily and eating from her imli he winked and left, not forgetting to do his signature hair flick.
