We all have been trying to find an connection between Ragini and Ajay of brother-sister or husband-wife and at first glance at the title I thought maybe Ajay had a hand in Ragini's escape. When he saw KN in the police station with that gun he decided to take advantage of the opportunity and blame him so that nobody doubts Ajay.

Probably it is because she is afraid that Ragni will reveal to KN how Vivaan made him sick and took advantage of his business. We know that Imli is super selfish, so this doesn't occur as a surprise.

But I don't think Imli will help her,because if Ragini comes out of jail,she will punish Vivaan then both KN and Ragini will be there as enemies. So it is better for her at least Ragini inside jail.
