*Chapter 2*

"Its been 5 years "

Omkara said finally releasing her from his death grip.

"How did you guys find her??"

"You should thank me!!" both Arjun and Rudy exclaimed at the same time.

"This is my hard work" Rudy said glaring at Arjun.

"Hard -work .oohhh!! such a big word for you ,bro.Can you even spell it"

Arjun scoffed at him.

I swear sometimes these two fight worst than 2 teenage girls fighting for a boy.I turned my attention to the girl who was now watching them intently.Amusement danced in her grey inky orbs but her face was remained emotionless.

"Some things never change"

Her comment caught Omkara's attention.

"STOP!!"

Omkara shouted at them.

"Squirt, you tell me how these idiots find you"

This statement earned him not so cute two pouts.

"Well as the matter of fact it wasn't their hard work"

She quoted "hard work" with her fingers.

"I was in a coffee cafe, which was a bad idea as you guys are here in Manchester.All of a sudden these two walked in gossiping like grannies.I tried slipping past to them but failed.So here I am.By the way ,your private detective was doing a shitty job in finding me"

She narrated whole story in a bored and indifferent tone.

" We weren't gossiping"

Rudy glared at her.

"Oh you totally were" she sassed back."Look at that prada bag, I totally wanna buy it"

She imitates in an extremely girly voice. Ohh! sassy .I like it and she also got a hot figure.I looked her from head to toe, raking her afterall I am a guy.Well she was wearing nothing special but a simple jeans and check shirt.A dog tag rested on her neck and a platinum band adorned her index finger.One could clearly spot the blue peeking from the mass of her raven black hair.And her those forget me not orbs looked like a warzone of gray and black with black dominating a bit.

"You knew about the detective"

Omkara asked.

Okay!! now I feel completely lost.What the hell is happening here.

"Guys, I'm also here and what is this happening"

Omkara looked at me as he just realize that I am also here.The unknown girl also turned her attention to me.Her eyes back to cold look.And believe me it was so cold that I almost flinched back.Almost being the key word.

"Yeah .Sorry. Shivaay this is Anika.Anika Shergill and Anika this is Shivaay .But I guess you already know him"

He formally introduced us.Wait ! That means she isn't related to any of them as Omkara is Kapoor, Rudra is singh and Arjun is khanna.Anika Shergill, shergill.That rings a bell.Apparently my confused face told them about my inner turmoil as Omkara decided to speak.

"She is Tej Shergill's daughter and my baby sister.Now does that ring a bell Shivaay"

Anika just froze at the word baby sister and I guess Omkara noticed it to.

Tej Shergill, He is the head of Cricket Board, Omkara's dad.I always find it weird that Om has different surname but never asked aloud as it was too personal.Omkara smirked at me and gave me "the look" which clearly said ' I saw you checking her out and don't you dare to it again'.I gulped at that, Omkara can be very dangerous when he wanted.

At this time I noticed a few important things about Anika like she glares too much ,she doesn't speak much.She is probably one of those extremely uptight 'the good girl'.

" You are hardly any older than me O and Off course I know him, I don't live under the rock.He is the claimed heartbreaker ,player, whom girls find irresistible.Right? Stereotypical much"

she finally decides to speak , her eyes never leaving mine as she speaks.Mockery evident in her tone.I did'nt like it a bit.No one means ,No one mocks Me.

"I might be a player.But you know Anika"

I walked close to her.

"In the end good girls always fall for bad boys"

I said in a low , husky voice.She just laughed at it.Not a hearty laugh or anything but a sarcastic and bitter one.

She closed the distance between us, there wasn't a 10cms gap between us now.I can feel the heat radiating off her, her sweet scent engulfing me.

"Oh believe me ,Shivaay.Firstly ,I am not a good girl despite your better judgement"

She said, her breath fanning my face which made my body shiver a bit.A warm feeling spread through me.Heck !! What the hell is she doing to me.And then suddenly she backs off and started walking away.I immediately felt cold.But as I came to my senses I realized she never said the second thing.

"Hey what's the second thing "

I hurriedly asked her.Listening to this she just turned around and said

"Who even said you are a badboy"

And that sentence left me speechless.

"Where do you think you are going??"

Came an angry voice, which turned out to be Soumya's.

"Home"

Anika just casually shrugged.

"Ohh no no.You are not going home.Omkara , they are calling you guys on the field for some award and sh*t.After that we're gonna head to a club for celebrating your victory.And you will be coming with us"

She gave a pointed look at Anika and then she hugged her.Just like that.Girls!

"I don't do parties ,Soumya and I'm so not coming"

"Anika"

Omkara said in a soft voice.

"Don't .just don't .Bhai"

Saying this she walked away from the VIP box.

"I'll go with her"

Saying this Soumya went behind Anika but not before giving a lingering look to Rudy.

I turned my attention from Anika's retreating figure to see that all the three boys were looking at me with"What the hell" look.

"What was all that about"

Arjun raised his eyebrow at me.

Suddenly Daksh came in with a starstruck look on his face .

"Dude who was that chick.She was damn hot"

He grinned cheekily which earned him 3 .Not 3 actually 4 glares.One from my side too.
