Hey everyone. Firstly a big thank you for the response to my OS yesterday. It's the loyal followers like you that make me want to keep writing.

So here's the continuation for this OS...
Naina p.o.v
Naina squinted her eyes at the morning sun. It was a new beginning for her today. She was now officially Karan's wife. Not that she wasn't already, but now she could be way more than just a friend to him. She slowly opened her eyes to find a familiar face sleeping next to her. A smile crept to her lips. As her vision became clearer, she realised the proximity. They were close, so close. She realised that they must have moved in towards each other in their sleep, with no chaatha in between, this was bound to happen. Her cheeks blushed red. She immediately sat up trying to put in the distance herself, but she couldn't go far as their entwined fingers brought her to a stop.
She looked back to see him tightly holding on to her hand. He was fast asleep. She couldn't help but admire that her husband was quite a good looking man. He definitely did have the looks, and the care, she thought. Had it not been for his disease and umbrella, he might have been a very popular boy at his college dating a hundred odd girls. At that a little anger formed inside her, no she would never let another girl near him. He was hers. She silently thanked the sickness for keeping him away from all the western girls out there. He was innocent, sweet and adorable. Just the way she liked him. Her eyes flicked to his sleeping form once more, he was the muscular type too she thought. What am I doing? Why am I thinking of Karan like this? Besharam, Besharam, Karan was right about you, she said to herself.
I better get off this bed before I think up of some more crazy thoughts, and slowly sneaked her fingers from his grip and dashed off to the washroom to change. Was I just feeling possessive about Karan? What has gotten into me? He is just my friend right? She asked the mirror. But he could be more now said her heart. Oh keep quiet, she scolded herself. Karan doesn't want this, he likes you as a friend only. That's it. But again her heart argued, that's not true, maybe he would love you now and he was just restricting himself because he was sick. Aaah.I'm going to go mad. I better shower and get out of here.
After hurriedly showering herself and dressing herself, she opened the washroom door to find Karan waiting for her. Hey, good morning, he said smiling. She shied away. She couldn't possibly look him in the eye after all those things she had been dreaming about. She walked right past him without replying. Karan seemed upset, but went off for his shower anyway without any complaints. As the door slammed shut, Naina chided herself for ruining his mood in the morning. She started getting their clothes for the party ready, and tidied the room when she heard Karan call.
Karan p.o.v.
He had woken up on his bed hoping the first thing he saw today would be Naina but unfortunately she had already woken up and headed to the washroom. None the less, he decided that he would greet her first in the morning and so waited outside the door till she finished showering but to his surprise Naina had ignored his hello and walked right past him. He thought back to all of last nights incidents and tried to figure out if there was anything that could have possibly upset her. But nothing came to his mind. He grumpily let the cold water flow around his shoulders trying to cool himself. Once done, he looked around to see that he had forgotten his tee.
He decided to ask Naina, if she wasn't in the room then he would walk out himself without any shy shy business. He slowly said Naina, Naina mere tshirt dedo please. He tried to listen in to any indication from outside but it was all silent. Hmm Naina neeche chali gayi hogi he told himself and slowly opened the door. To his surprise, there stood Naina halfway to the washroom door, with his tee in hand. Woh main.. main she bagan.
Naina p.o.v.
She heard Karan asking for his tee, but was hesitant to go and give it to him. It was already enough on her part to start the day off as she did. What if she couldn't face him again? No she had to apologise and say hello for earlier, she decided. She went to the cupboard and picked out a nice half sleeve tee, she smiled. Vishal had said that Karan could where what he wanted to now, and there was no need of the long jumpers. She turned back and was halfway to the door when the door clicked and a wet Karan stepped out.
Her heart skipped multiple beats. It wasn't that she hadn't seen Karans body before, but the thoughts playing in her mind were making her more and more uncomfortable. Besharam Besharam she told herself. She tried to explain herself, woh main...main. To her surprise, Karan kept walking towards her. Her heart pounded in her ears. When he closed the distance between them, he slowly pulled the tee from her hands and slipped it over his head. Sorry he said. But she could hardly respond. His chisel shaped chest was still keeping her in a trance.
Naina, Naina, he called. When she wasn't responding, she felt his hands on her shoulder snapping her out. Their eyes met. She was falling into them again. She had been feeling these weird feelings for the past few days now. Whenever they were too close, she felt an unease come over her. Her stomach fluttered. She finally realised what was happening to her. She had seen it happen to her di. She was falling in love or she was in love already, she didn't know. But one thing was for sure, Karan had slowly but surely taken over her heart.
As they continued standing inches apart. Karan's fingers slowly brushed her hair behind her ears. Her mind froze to capture the moment. The pink flush returned to her cheeks. His fingers slowly traced it. Tum bohot khubsoorat lag rahi ho, he quoted. Thank you, she squeeked. Par ek cheez missing hai, he said walking to the dressing table. He returned and before she could question what was missing, she felt his fingers place a small crimson red mark of sindoor on her forehead. Ab hui shaadi poori, he said smiling. The tears twinkled in her eyes. She remembered how he had sprinkled the sindoor at her wedding.
Karan p.o.v.
Naina looked astonishingly beautiful today. It's not that she didn't look beautiful on any other day but today he looked at her in a different perspective. His love, his wife who he got to keep to himself forever. He couldn't control the feelings that were rising in him seeing her cry and before he could think with a clear head, he had embraced her into his arms. At first, she seemed taken back by surprise. Then she softened against him and slowly placed her hand round his back. Naina thank you, sab kuch ke liye, mere Saath kade hone ke liye aur mujhe teek karne ke liye. He felt her sob against him. Friends mein koi thank you nahi hoti she replied.
He slowly stepped back and cupped her face in his hands. Friends? Kya hum ab bhi sirf friends he rahenge? He asked with a questioning look. Jo tum chaho, wo sahi, she replied. She was trying to keep her eyes down now. Aur tum, tum kya chaati ho Naina, he enquired. She blushed not knowing what she could possibly say next, he understood. He slowly pulled her closer again, their faces inches apart. Mein toh yeh chahta hoon, he said as he slowly placed a peck on her cheek, before giving her a wink and walking past her to the cupboard. Leaving a flabbergasted Naina behind.
