Yes dear I was like too. I fed by mom daily khichdi rice with a gallop of Desi ghee n Desi white butter n curd too I didn't gain weight infact i was always 40kg I start gaining n loosing weight once we moved to Dubai.but then now after life style n habits now I managed to loose fat n stay healthy n active.
Back home we eat all organic food ,home cooked food and non packaging food well this matters alot.now adays Mac, KFC,Pepsi is ruining our health. I quit all this now.but yes I have a sweet tooth so I make organic desserts made up of coconut sugar or sweet potato or date I put that n instead of maida I add whole wheat pastry dough .I start making my own yogurt instead of artificial yogurt.
I had desserts after long time on Eid but that's I keep all dirty desserts for Eid lol
