Male-bonding multi-starrers like Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and franchises such as Masti, Welcome, Dhoom, Housefull, and Golmaal, have been lapped up by the audiences. But similar films with heroines are sadly lacking. Movies like Pink, Lipstick Under My Burkha, and the upcoming Veerey Di Wedding, which stars Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, are few and far between in B-Town.
Raabta girl Kriti Sanon wants to work in a chick flick. "That would be amazing. The energy of so many women on one set will make it different and more fun, says the actress, who will be seen in Bareilly Ki Barfi. She even has a wishlist of who she'd pick as her co-stars for such a film.
Bonding with Athiya
"I have this strange connect with Athiya (Shetty), who I am extremely friendly with. We bond like crazy and she's possibly one of those few people who I'm always chatting with on WhatsApp, says Kriti, who admits that she hasn't been able to make many friends in Bollywood since she is not an industry kid. "It's not like I know them from my bachpan, she says.
Anushka's energy
Other than Athiya, Anushka Sharma is on Kriti's wishlist for the film. She says, "I like Anushka's energy and I feel she's very spunky. Plus, our height is similar so we will match well.
Shraddha's pep factor
These two girls apart, she wants Shraddha Kapoor to be a part of the film. "Shraddha because I have spoken to her a little more and she also has this peppy, jumpy sort of an energy. So that would be great, Kriti says. With these four actresses, it will never be a crowd!
