The President of India - President is the head of the country and first citizen of India. The President is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force). Although the presidents of India has many powers, the position known for ceremonial role. All the executive powers are exercised by the Prime Minister of India. In Hindi we call President as Rashtrapati, its a Sanskrit word, the meaning of rashtrapati is "Lord of the Realm". Indian President is elected by all the members of all state assemblies, lok sabha and rajya sabha members.
