I know many of us are very upset the way Pinky has been hogging the limelight so to speak. Her unspeakable acts and words have made us detest her very presence.
Bear with me as today's little scene between Shivaay and Pinky was just beautiful. I think the start of her downfall has begun. The downward spiral has started for her. Jhanvi's words have borne fruit, there is only tears left in Pinky's sad life.
Shivaay directly countered the threat from Pinky when she said there was still 6 months left for Om's unborn baby to be born. See his eyes, he looks at Pinky and promises Gauri that no harm will befall her or the baby, mostly the baby. I think for the first time, apart from his siblings he showed some emotion, deep ones at that towards the unborn baby. He is already protective about the baby. He was helpless to stop his mom from harming Anika and now he has a chance to redeem himself. He definitely made a veiled threat to Pinky. She went quiet at his words and note the expression in his eyes.
Then when she goes after him, to make her point that 'Her Son' does not have time for her but all the time for the whole world..see his face. He was holding onto his temper by a thread, impatience in every line of his body. He cannot bear to breathe the same air as Pinky and anything she does or sends for him, he flings it away from him like he did to Anika. He did that in a fit of rage and is living in agony. He cannot tolerate Pinky' touch any more or her mollycoddling of him.
Again, his look was like 'yeah right', you are doing everything for my happiness. In the next breath she tells him that Om has gone ahead in the race to become a father while he was left behind. The thing I love about ShivOmRu is that they are not Jealous of each other and truly Love each other, no barriers in their mind. This is a delicate bloom that is held on with care and nurtured by all of them. Shivaay is happy for his brother and he is disgusted when Pinky points it out that he is behind in the race. It is very evident on his face, he is completely dismissing her from his mind.
Did Pinky not sentence her son to die a thousand deaths a day? Well, she is going to be facing the same and my feeling is, it has begun. OmRu who have always ignored her jabs and digs at them (out of love and respect as she was their bade bhaiya's mother) are going to lash out on her for ruining their brother's life and the woman still does not have clue or remorse over what she has done. Guess that scene is up tomorrow in IB or DBO.
Shivaay is controlling his temper with great difficulty but one day the dam is going to burst and when it does, Pinky's true OMM will begun. Before that she is going to die a slow death. Her son's ignorance and dismissal of her pleas has brought tears to her eyes. As she used to blackmail him emotionally, Shivaay is now doing the same. He has learnt a few of her own tricks to be used against her. What an irony. He would rather die than be subject to the torture he is undergoing, of sending Anika out and his mom's insistence that he move on in life. He said to Pinky that it has always been her problem, the he come first in EVERY RACE, LIKE A PRIZED THOROUGHBRED STALLION. He is beginning to see her flaws, her ill concealed contempt of Anika. Think Billu, think Billu, there is hope yet for you.
Loved how he removed her talons from his arm, that has a left its mark on his heart and soul.
The lapse has been shown this whole week in bits and pieces to tell the tale of what happened in 3 months since Anika left OM.
Shivaay did not sense Anika next to him or he has learnt to ignore it after many misses... BTW who wears black on their engagement. Chanda is wearing a black lehenga... yikes...
SC was looking gorgeous in that.. as was NM.. with the bruises et al... will the sparks fly ??
