I don't agree with what Mils did on principle. Alaap needs to be punished alright...for ruining Suk's life by taking advantage of her. However, he didn't know about the baby, not that he would have married her or anything...and Suk needn't have had the baby...that a diff topic. But punishment could have meted out in private.

Coming back to Mils, I think he was quite selfish today, especially towards his wife. He took away their hardwon moment of happiness, made his wife's sacrifice for his family's good name so useless, didn't give a thought to his ma-in-law or that he's bashing up his wife's brother, that too in public....and more than all that, putting his sister's marriage in jeopardy by making people raise their eyebrows and ask questions, especially Niharaika...he alerted her and alaap who won't rest till they find out the truth.

Mils as usual let his violent streak take over...any confrontation with Alaap could have been done in private and after the wedding ceremony....now the other ceremonies won't happen and he's going to deprive everyone of that joy!

my thoughts exactly.....somehow i think M shuda been more firm with S....i thought he was very forgiving towards her wrt that she all but destroyed his marriage...i thought his father was more good with this (abt destroying MP marriage)....but aside from all this i think i was disappointed in M in that before the engagement he shud've had a heart-to-heart conversation with P. he shud've voiced his thoughts on her, hoe much he apprecites her for the sacrifices she's made for the family, and that he's been nothing but a jealous fool (this cud've paved the path for some amazing dialogues). we cant help but the guy is so damned impulsive. perhaps he is a little light-headed or he doesn't think before out putting forth his next step.

PS: btw, i laughed out loud with the whole alaap-bashing session. it was so filmy.

^^ Very similar thoughts of mine as well..and there was one more thing..if Alaap is to be blamed..isnt Sukk equally to be blamed? She hid such a big fact with everyone in the family and then nearly destroyed Michi's relationship...if not anything, Sukk deserved the slap from Mishra ji..may be one from Milind as well wouldnt have hurt!

Suk sud well n truly be punished for what she has done.I was so happy When Mishra slaped her she derseved it.
