As the morning rays kissed the windows of the princess's room she yawned and stretched lazily looking around still in sleep. Ohh..she was dreaming, but what a peaceful dream it was.
A young girl in anarkali churidar running down the palace stairs right in the arm of her blue eyed man..her man. Oh it sound perfect. He lifted her up in his strong arms and twirled around. She was laughing freely drowned in those blue orbs..'his kanji aankhein'.
"Anikaa, get up beta or you are going to be late for your exams, shouted her mother Anuradha, the queen of this palace of Jodhpur. She is a housewife and deeply in love with her husband. They had only on daughter Anika. She is a bubbly and cheerful girl who is so selfless and kind. How will she face the world outside..these thoughts sometimes troubled her.
Here anika was wide awake listening the word EXAM'. Exams..oh yes it was her last exam today...how can she forget..wait last exam, that means her shivay will come today. Just can't wait to finish the exam already and run to him. How much she has missed him in the past two months. He strictly told her to concentrate on her studies and not spend much time with him. How mean..doesn't he know that missing him and daydreaming about him is the biggest distraction. But he is doing it for your good. Its board exams afterall..no little thing.
Quickly coming out of her thoughts she rushed to get ready or she would definitely be late today. After taking a quick bath and wearing her lucky top and jeans she headed downstairs only to collide with Rajveer Singh Rathore., making him fall down.
Rajveer Singh Rathore was the present king of the rathore dynasty in the palace of Jodhpur. Being the eldest son of the house all the responsibility of the business and family fell upon his shoulders just when he was twenty two years old. His younger brother died at a young age of twenty eight in a car accident. His wife so was so much grief stricken that she couldn't handle the pain and followed her husband two years later leaving her four year old son, Arnav Singh Rathore behind. Arnav was six years elder than Anika and was currently studying in London.
"ouch...she exclaimed rubbing her forehead and sheepily glanced at her father. "sorry baba..wo I was in a hurry..wo I ...u see and... she tried hard to form a sentence. Her father stared at her sternly then started laughing and hugged her lovingly. "its okay beta..now show where are you hurt...u should be careful na..what will you do when you get married...running around the whole house like a butterfly. Although anika didn't like her father talking about marriage and all but she brushed off those emotional subjects and smiled in return.
Saying so they straightened up and went to the dining room for breakfast where Anuradha was already waiting. The servants served them breakfast. Anika quickly gulped her milk stuffed one toast and run towards the door.
Her mother came running behind with a bowl of curd and sugar. "beta dahi shakkar to kha le..shubh hota hai. Saying so she quickly fed her one spoon and did the tika. "amma main exam dene jar ahi hu..jang ladne nhi. Her mother shook her head and kissed her forehead wishing her luck. She kissed her back and sprinted off shouting "bye amma"
"Balbir bhayia jaldi chaliye warna aaj to paper chut hi jayega. She told their old driver as he started the car.
