Jan 21st/22nd Written Update

Epi starts with Apu trying to get a clear look at Jia who freezes as she spots him watching her. She runs away and in her haste drops one of her ghungroos. Apu follows her and smiles as he picks up the ghungroo; he continues looking for her but Jia rushes in to Kirans room panting hard. She runs to hide as a frustrated Kiran screams her name for some work.

Apu rushes in but realises that he's come to the wrong room – a stern Kiran asks him to apologise but Apu is annoyed and says he's rather accept the punishment. Kiran suspends him for seven days; Apu is unperturbed and so Kiran changes her punishment saying that for the next 7 days he won't come to the academy as a student, but as the caretaker instead. Apu is shocked but leaves as Kiran dismisses him.

A file falls and Kiran bends to pick it up and spots Jia hiding behind a chair. She questions her and asks her why she is always so confused – Jia gives a lame excuse and Kiran scolds her before telling her to make a schedule without any mistakes. She shows Jia how to do it and tells her to be very careful. She adds that for the whole week Jia has to supervise Apu – she is stunned but agrees. Kiran looks at her confused face and asks if she can handle all this. Jia says she can.

Jia's house...

Dadi is praising Jia saying that she will surely become a great dancer. Mahesh calls Jia Daboo again saying what will she become without a degree and at least needs a master degree to find a good boy. Jia's sister argues saying that Sania Mirza doesn't have a mazters – Mahesh is adamant and leaves. Dadi also doesn't budge saying that Jia will surely become successful and will rule one day.

RAD...

A helpless looking Jia is sticking up some notices when she hears the sound of ghungroos. Confused, she checks her feet and when she doesn't find the ghungroo she looks out as Apu comes up behind her and catches her when she bumps in to him. Jia looks shocked but he just smiles and after setting her upright he walks out in to the halls with a dazed look as he remembers the 'mysterious girl' dancing.

Jia's house...

Mahesh is fixing his degree on the wall and Dadi tells him to sit down to eat and get away from the degree. Mahesh replies that he's arranging the degree because he respects it as no-one else in this house seems to value education. He adds that he had hoped Jia would study and also obtain a degree but now he only hopes she won't put him to shame. Jia comes in looking tired and accidentally drops the framed degree. Mahesh gets furious at her and tells her to at least respect the thing that she can't ever have and goes on about how everyone in his family has at least a Masters and if she is really apologetic then she should try to study as well. Dadi shakes her head as Mahesh tells her that from tomorrow she needs to be at home 7pm exact and doesn't listen to Jia as she tries to tell him about work.

He leaves and Dadi consoles a crying Jia.

Later...

Jia sits down with Dadi an starts telling her about Apu – Dadi interrupts asking if she's talking about her hero. Jia makes a face saying that Apu is not nice but more like an 'Akhroo'

[Apu telling his friend that Jia is so dum and didn't even say thank-you when he saved her]

Dadi asks if Apu saved her from falling – she nods and Dadi smiles saying that something is going on between them.

[Apu says that there is no romance between them and it's just that their paths cross]

Dadi tells Jia that Apu had followed her this morning but Jia says that he didn't know that the girl was actually her.

[Apu says that he doesn't want to talk about that dumbo and starts talking about his dream girl]

Dadi asks Jia how she danced at the academy. Jia smiles and after making sure that no-one is around, she twirls but bumps in to her friend [? – can't remember her name]. She asks Jia how her first day at the job went and Dadi proudly says that Kiran has given all responsibility to Jia now including the work for the schedules. Jia's friend is excited and after Dadi leaves she asks Jia to adjust her schedules so that she's in Rohans sirs class.

Jia refuses saying that if she changes the schedule then Kiran will be really angry. Her friend is annoyed and leaves in a huff after telling Jia that she has changed – Jia is left confused.

Next day...

The new schedules are up and all the students are annoyed that they are in Kirans call instead of Rohans. A girls points out that they need to see someone called Jia to change the classes and who wonder who the hell she is. Just then Jia walks in and everyone looks around.

Kiran's room...

Samar [?] goes to Kiran and tries to sweet talk her in to changing the classes but Kiran replies that the academy does not run as per his rules and besides; it's Jia who handled de-scheduling.

Outside...

Jia tells the puzzled janitor that he has a week of. The janitor replies that there is a lot of work to be done and who will handle that – Jia hesitantly says Apoorva. The students around her laugh and point as Apu walks in.

Next scene...

Jia looks scared as Apu dressed in janitors uniforms walks up to her stonyfaced and carrying a large pair of scissors. Jia stumbles backwards.

Jiya tries to talk with Kiran who leaves frustrated after shouting at her. Jia is upset as she remembers scenes where the janitor handed his job over to Apu, Geri sir tried to hit on her, Apu got annoyed when told to clean up. She slides down a wall and starts crying as everyone's words reverberate in her mind telling her that she's useless and can't do one thing right.

Some students spot her crying and one Jiyas friend [Hermania?] swipes her tears and consoles her saying that Kiran is just like this and everything will turn out okay. Jia thanks her saying for forgiving her saying that she his her only friend in the whole academy. Bharka comes up from behind asking what she means by only friend. Jia corrects herself and hugs the two girls saying that they are both her best friends.

Bharka notices the sandwich in Jias hands and takes saying that she's hungry. Jia hurriedly takes it back saying that she's very, very hungry. The girls leaves to go the canteen and Jia goes to Apu after wiping her tears [looks quite cute in the janitors office]. He sarcastically tells her the place was already clean but he cleaned it even more and she can say if she sees any marks. Jia looks down and extends her sandwich for him.

Apu gets furious asking if she is doing this deliberately or if this is Kirans plan to humiliate him. Jia tries to say that this has nothing to do with Kiran but remembers that she had get a file for Kiran. Jia pushes the sandwich and Apu's hand telling him to eat and rushes away – Apu throws it on a chair in disgust.

Kiran's room...

Jia runs in and tries to apologise but Kiran tells her to shut up and scolds her saying that she's begun to hate her face now. She presses a file in to her hand and tells het to leave. Jia leaves and becomes teary again. Samar stops and asks her why she is crying before guessing correctly that it was probably Kiran. He tells her not to take Kirans words to heart and butters her up saying that RAD really needs her and tells her not to feel alone in this academy. Jia thanks him and he tells her stop crying.

Jia remembers that she had to go to Geri sirs class an hour ago and rushes away as Samar feels proud that his magic is finally working on Jia.

Jia's house...

Mahesh is furious that Jia has still not arrived and leaves to go after her whilst Dadi is annoyed at him.

Geri's class...

One of the female students comes up to Geri and flirts with him asking if he can have her schedule changed. He replies that it's a little difficult and she says that she can do anything for it – he smiles and agrees before holding her close. Jia walks in and immediately leaves after closing her eyes.

Corridors...

Apu is mopping the floor and gets down on his knees to scrub at a mark. After checking himself out in the reflection he's happy that all the marks have gone sand says that he's the best. Just then Jia walks in, shaking her head at what she saw in the classroom and slips on the wet floor – the bucket and file go flying and Apu catches her but is stunned to see the mess on the floor.

He turns and gives Jia and angry look and they both fall on the floor in a heap.
