iam not sure about how you can get married within your family circles but in South you are allowed to get married to your Mama's son. I know we have couple of South Indians in this forum and I hope you guys agree with me. I am just looking at this Rithwick scenario from a South India's perspective.

Just Imagine guys. Rithwick grows up as MICHI's son and Sukruthi has a daughter of her own with Saket. What if Sukruthi's daughter falls in love with Rithwick and plans to marry him. GOSH that will be the biggest Kayamath (devastation) in this family. What if Saket approves the relationship but everyone is against it and don't know how to bring tell the truth. This will be the end of the relationship and I think that is how Nagpal will bring the truth out.

In Guju culture, mama's children are considered as bro/sis, they are not allowd to marry. I am not sure but it is same in Punjabi culture as well.

vidya we don't have to worry about that since the Shahs, Shergills and Mishras are not from South India and don't endorse such customs. This is a Hindi show and here your cousins are equated with your siblings. So even if Ritwik remains Michi's child all his life, Suki's daughter or son will still be considered a sibling to him. I think that would be very nice to see Ritwik bonding with his half-sister or half-brother knowing or unknowing their real relationship. I know i am very close to my cousins...they are just as close to me as my own brother and its a real pleasure to have such a close knit, large family here in the US. I hope Michi's children, Neesha's children ( 😕 if that happens), Alaap's, Suki's, Soumya and Bobby's kids all become one big soccer team and they bond really well together and thus erase the enmities between their parents unlike many of the other shows where the kids carry on the revengeful nature of their parents.

Agreed with JC here, they will grow up and will consider them self as
siblings...nothing like this have happend in BT serials. Ritwik will be a good
big bro to everyone on this house and take care like Milsi does 😳

and ritwik will be growing up as michi's son..and im sure when suk's daughter/son is born..they will be like playing with ritwik..so theres no way they can fall for one another..cuz they will know each other as brother/sister since childhood...
