Before starting my comments i m telling u guys clearly that i m not here to bash anyone, i m not commeting this on behalf of another fandom.

It is not that Salman is giving back to back flop films, his last films were praised and liked by Audiences and Critics as well. But whether Critics liked it or not, his fans always gave a thumbs up for his films. honestly speaking, for Khan trio its their fandom works more than the story of their films. Bas Nam hi kaafi hai film dekhne k liye. Not all movies of Salman have good plots, some of them are illogical also.Still those films created craze among his fans. But what happened to Tubelight that even mass also rejecting it?

Even the regional films are doing better than this film. At first i heard that South Film DJ beats Tubelight, well we know South films also has another level of craze. But even in Bengal too Actor Dev's film 'Champ' which also released in same date, overbeats Salman Khan's Tubelight which is actually near to impossible. Its a surprise for Bengalis also.[Bata du i m not a Dev fan, but this is true]. I dont know about DJ but Champ also has not great story. But still its mannaged to gain greater response than Tubelight.

I understand Tubelight's story is not good, but where did the craze of salman fuses away?

if you are talking about ready, bodyguard, kick they are south remakes and that too superhit hit one then were made 4 hindi audience taking salman so i can't say his films are illogical type as it has been hit when he was not there,

talking about dabang ...this film had story 😆

on topic last hope is TZH if the promos click ...then no problem , but if the trailer or promos don't click , bother zone enters

I will only speak about regional cinema, I will tell you about Telugu movie DJ that did better.

I haven't watched DJ but know that it is a typical masala action-comedy telugu movie.

Telugu audience is very different.. Telugu audience who may reject even Sultan may still go to watch a movie like DJ(which is not any better than any hindi masala movie). Telugu audience looks for different things - and no one will be able to crack the code of the relationship between Telugu movies and audience. I also enjoy few telugu masala comedies -- it'a a different feeling that I cannot explain :) ..while, I rarely watch Hindi masala movies, and, do not feel same way about hindi masala movies.

What I want to say is, comparing the success of regional movies is pointless, because I feel the relationship between regional movie and the regional audience is different.. For example, I personally love the language or dialogues in comedy telugu movies, and it is the same for all telugu audience, we love comedy, most of the top-most telugu hits are strong in comedy or dialogues.. we love good dialogues.. even if everything in the movie may be OTT.

As for Tubelight - the days when the star power attracted masses to the theatres are going away :)

...plus, the horrible marketing strategy of releasing the large number of teasers, trailers, video songs months before movie release...

Not only do we lose curiosity from so much exposure to the movie before it's release but we also get a fair idea of what the movie may be like, of it's story... Most are comfortable enough to wait for a few more weeks to download the movie - 1080 p.

The marketing should do the opposite - pique our curiosity, play only best part of 1 or 2 songs for 10 seconds in the background of a small 2 minute intruiging trailer. The songs may be bad, the movie may be even worse --- but the way you market your product matters a lot.

And lastly, a movie is either good or bad, either connects to audience or not... that is all.

I would say this is all those SALMAN Fans contant pressure on Salman to do PERFORMANCE Oriented FIlms with SCRIPT, that Salman went ahead for this kind of role.

When Salman does READY, ppl bash / trash, mindless masala, Salman film has no script, and that film is still Biggest Non-Holiday Blockbuster Salman grosser.

When Salman was giving back to back Blockbuster, ppl said mindless films hai, Single Screen pe RICKSHWALA Chala dete hai, uneducated fans can watch anything CRAP.

When Bajrangi came, Munni is real credit, script was credit, still bash came in the form of PK.

The Best Actor SRK has given FAN, The Best Actor Aamir has given Dhobhi Ghat woh bhi right after 3 Idiots, same ppl won't question their acting ability ke film HIT bhi nahi kara sake?

THOSE Critics are trashing Salman From DABANGG to SULTAN, very few exception cases in BB & Sultan, rest every single thing about SALMAN is TRASH, all his films.

This build a huge pressure on Salman to attempt something DIFFERENT, this much that he went ahead of his comfort zone & done a film which he won't have done even in last decade.

Salman mere bhaijaan... plz don't ever think about those critics/ppl trashing your films which are big success... We want you in ENTERTAINING Stuffs... I am the only Salman fan who has supported, loved JAI HO like anything in this forum, which is trashed by Salman fans also, coz i have seen Salman's kind of ACTION in that film, which made it Semi-Hit, Under-performer not DISASTER like TL which is from Kabir Khan.

Salman has much bigger STARDOM, this DIsaster won't dent his STARDOM... We Want RADHE Back on SCREEN & Same ppl laughing at Salman now will be hidden when OPENING will be BUMPER.

Tiger Aa raha hai... December ki wait karlo, NON-HOLIDAY pe opening kaisi hoti hai, woh bhi pata chal jayegi.

Regarding comparison with REGIONAL Films...

Does TUBELIGHT is MASSY Films like those brought in comparison?? SULTAN se kara lo kisi ka kabhi comparion, u will get to know how big Salman is.

5 Days of SULTAN is bigger than whoever that DEV is which is being brought in comparison.

Sallu isn't going anywhere. TL is a BORING movie, no one could save it. Replace Sallu with anyone and movie will be out of theaters. It is so bad!!

He'll be back in TZH.

This I agree with.. Salman is anyday better and 1000 times bigger than that annoying Dev 🤢 ... Usse koi comparison nahi.. 😆 😆 😆
And ya TZH will be bumper no doubt 😃
