Return of Shark Singh Oberoi?
Remember that time when Annika lamented that when Shivaay has set his mind on something, he'll go to all extents to get it, no matter what?
I feel that Shark has returned. it's too random that Annika is just conveniently there at Chanda's place, and for Shivaay to be just blase about it. The moment she walked out the door, he'd have kept a tail on her.
To see what she's up to? To see what the damn plan was that she had to ruin their relationship to that extent, what she hoped to achieve by breaking his heart like this. To see if she was safe and doing alright. So he can see her even if he can't be with her. He is that obsessed with her, he thinks of her very often.
It must be frustrating to see her trying to pick herself up and move on, to a job. Knowing her, her mental strength and will power are her superpowers, if she got a job she'd do just fine despite being broken inside.
My mere postulation, I may be totally wrong, but I think Shivaay is behind all her rejections of jobs. She lamented that she has gotten jobs, only to be recanted at the last minute. I'd say, this effort is to punish her for breaking his heart, using his influence in the business society, to blacklist her for employment, he has the power and influence to do that.
I'm sure Samar Jeet Malhotra (all 3 named characters are worthy business rivals hahahah... ) came into his radar because his private eye spotted him speaking to Annika. Thus setting bloodhound Shivaay on his quest to sniff down every crack and loophole and weakness that makes this guy tick.
He may have also been in negotiations to buy Happy Chawl, but at the last minute losing the deal to this Samar person. Why would Shivaay want to buy the small chawl where Chanda lives?
To break it down so Annika has nowhere else to go? ... But back to him, perhaps? I dunno, we'll have to wait and see. Losing this deal to Samar, would wrest the power over Annika's life away from him, making sense for Shivaay to go all T-Rex over the little chawl as seen in BTS segments.
And Annika getting a job with Samar will be another blow because he won't be able to influence that job as well, because Samar won't be giving two hoots what SSO (the guy picking a panga with him) wants.
The way his face was smug with satisfaction at the media gossip saying he was in a relationship with Ragini Malhotra, tells me he wants to show himself as moving on (to Annika ). He doesn't give a da*n what the rest of the world or even his family thinks now. He's uncaring about media messing about his izzat, his image, prestige and name.
"Mujhe faraq nahin padta" he honestly doesn't care. What if he finds out the NKK truth now? hmmm..
When normally a single untoward mention of his name in a scandal would've made him shut down that news portal, today he says he doesn't care. On top of that Ragini supposedly lost her "fiance" over this scandal, and he STILL doesn't give a blink.
( I had to laugh over this... ROFL. maybe one hit on the head with that hammer wasn't enough Rags. A few more perhaps? )
Pinky is starting to realize what Annika said before she left. "Where ever I am, I will always be Shivaay's. What will YOU have?"
elsewhere, Prinku is going down the same path Annika went, just a cheaper version. Husband yelling at her & romancing intermittently , blaming her for things not in her control, being played by her MIL.
Rudy boy is looking gorgeous these days. Thanks for giving him something other that those awful brown grey holey tees to wear. His story is going nicely too. But he looks set up for heartbreak too, as ACP Bhavya is using him for a mission.
p/s : Dont mock me guys, but I'm enjoying the buildup, it's all going somewhere, I'm waiting for that. I didn't sign up just to see Shivika all the time, I genuinely want to see where the writers want to go with this lapse of theirs. They're not fools on self destruct. mode.
