PROLOGUE

"Itna sannatta kyu hai bhai" a girl shouted entering the class ...
" Aaj Hitler Maths k answer sheets dikhayega" her friend whispered into her ear...to which the girl's face turned pale and she made a run towards the last seat not wanting to be in the periphery of the Hitler's eyes...

"Ms Faarouqi could u pls enlighten us all with the theories you presented in the exam... I was not wise enough to grasp those..may be" a sarcastic comment broke the silence in the class.
"Ms Faarouqi top hiding behind the book ...25 out of 100...tomorrow with your guardian at sharp 10"



"Abbu will kill me ...better I burn the papers...no no Professor Khan will eat me alive.." the girl kept blabbering. ...Suddenly her face lightened with an idea..."AAPI"

"Aapi u have a meeting with my Professor at 10...so don't be late" the girl announced in the bedroom.

"Excuse me I don't intend to be your so called Dracula's meal ask Abbu to do the honours" her sister retorted

And soon the room was filled with the melodious Pls pls pls...

"Shakeel I have talked to Dilshaad about this and she is too excited to see Zoya as her bahu...bas Asad haan kar de..." Rashid khan was talking to his dear friend and colleague Shakeel.
"Zoya to mere pasand wale ladke se hi shaadi karegi...I am sorted that way" Shakeel said

"ok ok I am ready for the marriage" said Asad to which Dilshaad couldn't stop herself from flashing her all pairs of teeth ...

"Zoya has said yes..I am so excited" shared Shakeel with his younger daughter..."Wohoo Di's marriage. ...I will get a Jiju ...he should be supercool...atleast show me the pic Dad" chirped Humeira

"No.. this can't be your Dracula professor" Zoya exasperated ...to which she saw her sister's head nodding "Unfortunately yes he is"...
There was a dead silence and then "Abbu"!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 1

"Humeira get up...u will miss ur classes" shouted a girl in her early 20s while rushing out of the bathroom.
"hmmm" was all she got in response irritating her further...Finally She snatched the blanket and pushed her little sister in the bathroom.

This was Zoya Faarouqi's daily routine. She has just started working in an IT company and so still struggling to catch up with the new routine.

"Humie u completed your assignment?" asked Zoya while having breakfast.
"Oh no I am still stuck ...will need a day more to finish it " Humeira replied in a plain tone . Zoya was surprised to see such a calm tone..."And your favourite professor will allow it..last time i heard he was too cruel to give these kinds of grants" Zoya raised her eyebrows at Humeira stifling her laughter.
"Aapko kabhi unka chehra roz subah dekhna pade tab pata chalega aapko ...ki" Humeira would have continued but stopped hearing the footsteps of her Abbu.

"Good morning Abbu" both the sisters chirped." Shakeel smiled and wished them back. Humeira got up with a gloomy face ready to leave.
" Ye Akdu Professor cheez kya hai...itna khauf failaye rakha hai" Zoya soliloquised...

At college

"Shakeel do you think our kids will agree for the alliance. ...Dilshaad begum toh Asad-Zoya ke nikaah ke zikra se hi itni khush ho gayi ki...aaj pura schedule Asad ke saath rakha hua hai use manane k liye" Rashid smiled remembering Dilshaad's excitement over Asad-Zoya.

"Zoya meri pasand k ladke se hi shaadi karegi...so I m sorted that way...Let's see what will be Asad's decision" Shakeel told Rashid earning a smirk in return "Don't worry Mumma's boy will agree to his Ammi's fancies at the end of the day" Rashid laughed.
Rashid and Shakeel were thick friends and were working in the same bank .

"Cool ...I don't mind bunking college for two days" Humeira smiled and jumped on the bed.

Poor boy finally succumbed to his mother's melodramatic threats and not to forget her ZOYA PURAAN ...seems like she is totally smitten.
And within an hour Asad was sitting with a photograph in his hand ...BUT the frustration was replaced by a besotted smile which didn't dare to leave his charming face...
Like mother like son..totally smitten!!!!

There was a dead silence and then "Abbu" Zoya shouted through the hallway . " I know I know u are too excited on seeing your would be shauhar's pic ..I am so happy Zoe Asad is a gem he will always keep you happy" Shakeel expressed his joy after which Zoya couldn't speak a word.

Zoya had always dreamt of a romantic husband...but reality was going the other way...she was making assumptions on Humeira's rantings about how cruel arrogant her professor is!!!

PRECAP:

"Miss Faarouqi your guardian" Mr. Khan demanded an answer.
"She will be there at 11" Humeira answered hiding the smirk
