It was raining hard.. more like a stormy night.They were in their room now.It was after this long conversation they had this evening after Jai returned from office abit early and Venella/Veena also got free from her duties...Both were in a pleasant mood..With time they were slowly getting to know each other and also good at sharing jokes or tease eachother..the ice was sloly breaking..
She was sitting on the bed lost in her own world when Jai was adjusting his blanket and pillow..They had separate blankets😆courtesy Jai..

That look..it was very difficult to avoid his strong gaze..being a doctor she couldn't figure it out herself how his gaze leaves heat on her face..he is no less than a distraction to him..
On the other hand it was also not easy for him being so close to her..sleeping next to her and staring at her face..she started having effect on him..even her mention brings this smile on his face..distraction she is...
Jai was lying beside her staring at the ceiling...She kept her dupatta on the side and adjusted the blanket feeling a bit weird with this new change sort of thing they developed...She closed her eyes and felt the chilly wind from the window and shivered..
He turned on her side and stared at his wife beside him.He is glad that..she trusts him this much that she agreed to sleep with him on the same bed. since the very first day..otherwise arrange marriage has its own issues..but she seemed to be different..
He smiled thinking about this morning..how she sewed his button again this time 3 buttons...😆Back to present he removed the strand of hair which was coming on her face and noticed the red vermilion on her forehead.He adored this side of her..she was modern yet a devoting wife..the light touch made her open her eyes...
V-kya hua
J-kuch nahi bas dekh raha tha ke tum sach mein so rahi ho ya nahi.😉
She glared at him and straight staring upwards..

J-ohh..actually pehli baar suna hai yeh naam..I thought you got married to someone without knowing his name..maybe..kuch bhi ho sakta hai you see..

amma kehti hai..pati ka naam nahi lete..superstitious things..
J-hm..to..kuch socha hai..

J-ab naam to nahi lene wali mera..and i won't be comfortable with e ji suniye ji..

J-ya phir..Venella/Veena ka pati..that sounds cool...😆
Both burst out laughing..and right after that a moment of silence gripped the atmosphere..

J-acha lagta hai..tumhare mu se Jai sunna..yehi bulaya karo..
She looked at him with a soothing smile and within no time both drifted off to sleep.
It was 4 in morning when he felt movements beside him...he got up and switched on the lamp..he could hear her moans..she seemed to be scared of something...
He touched her shoulder and tried to wake her up.
J-Vennela/Veeena kya hua..u ok na
V-mumma papa plzz...noo..pleasee
He felt bad seeing her in such a state..maybe a bad dream..but what should he be doing now..wake her up?..
J-kya karun
He tried to keep his hand on her forehead when she caught his hand and got hold of it tightly...
J-shh dont worry Iam here...Venella/veena?...
V-.iam scared plzzz...
Taking a brief moment he lied down closer to her and took her in his arms..she hugged him tightly like a small kid ...he caressed her back with his hand and placed a kiss on her head trying to make her feel safe..After few minutes when he found her sleeping peacefully absorbed in his chest he relaxed a bit and tried to catch some sleep..he himself didn't knew why he did that and how uncomfortable she would be if she gets to know about this..at the moment what mattered to him was how he could calm her down..give her the protection of his arms..
He closed his eyes with sleep engulfing him soon...
The sun's rays entered the room disturbing the couple..They were snuggled to each other on the bed.. in a position that she hugged him like a teddy bear tightly and her head engrossed on his chest..He also hugged her tightly with a dreamy smile on his face...
The light disturbed Venella/Veena and she woke up with irritation visible on her face...she tried to move when felt something on her back..a tight hold...she opened her eyes with great difficulty and found herself in his arms.
At first she felt it was a dream but then seeing his movements a sigh escaped her mouth..she raised her head up and tried to get out of his hold but he was too strong..resting her hands on his chest she stared at him with big eyes..whats wrong with her..why is she sticking to him like a glue..all she could remember was how last night they had this funny conversation and then ended up sleeping..but how come they are sleeping like this..shit..her dreams..when will they stop haunting her..
God how is she going to face him now... cursing herself.. she again tried to get up when he frowned his brows and opened his eyes...
She bit her lips and closed her eyes not being able to face him..he loosened his hold on her and she took the chance..getting up as fast as possible she settled on the bed adjusting her hair behind her ear...He gave a sweet smile realizing the fact that they slept with each other first time like a husband wife and without any physical intimacy-it felt like heaven! He got up and tried to look at her when she faced him..giving his killer smile..

V-hmm
He noticed her flushed face and the next moment feared what if she takes him wrong..
J-a actually kal raat

I was ..scared..
She blushed and got out of the bed giving him a sweet smile.He was happy that now they don't need to explain such things to each other...
J-I should be thanking the ghosts 😳
I didn't get time to re check or edit this particular scene...this is not a story or OS or even SS but a series of small scenes maybe.. :))
