Prologue

For Anika Malhotra, life is a struggle everyday.
Just after an year of graduation from college,
She struggles to grasp hold of her life
And prevent herself from falling apart.

Life seems to be the same everyday: difficult.

With her father in mental facility due to his schizophrenia for last 3 years,
Anika has to earn to keep him alive for
He is the last of her family.
Even at 25, life seems as difficult
When she was little. With no one to talk
To and nothing to eat.

And making things worse her best friend,
Omkara Sharma is dating an obnoxious bitch
Which messes her mind up everyday as
They live together.

And on top of that her new boss really enjoys
Making her life a living hell.

At 34,shivaay Singh Oberoi is the epitome of success
That any person wants to be. He steps as the boss
Of Aviar enterprises. He's headstrong, domineering, a bas***d
All of the infuriating him wrapped in the package of a sinfully
Gorgeous man.
Although his distasteful behavior tempts Anika to cut his
Throat out but she can't simply deny the unwavering and
Consuming attraction she feels for him.

She can't cope up with the fact that her best friend omkara is
Dating someone else that too a grade one bitch.
But with passing time, her boss keeps pushing her
And starts to penetrate through her skin. Which makes her realise
That with so much going on he can really become her favorite way to pass her time.

Work place: Aviar Enterprise Inc.
Anika's home : shared with omkara.

anika's pov




I run as fast as my feet could take me.
Run away from the monster that's catching upto me.
He catches my foot and I fall to the ground with a thud.
He begins to eat my right foot
As I lay there trying to shove him away but he
Continues to eat and blood pools all around me.

I shove him and that's when I see his face...Dad!


I wake up instantly with a jolt and I check my right foot.
I realized I was just dreaming.
Looking at that creature in dream, it made me nauseous.
I rubbish the thought that he had dad's face.
I figured that maybe it was that I was thinking too
Much about paying his bilss and worrying about him
That I saw his face.

I saw my clock and it read 6:57am. Very well
I think. I would have been getting up in sometime to get
Ready for office.
I work my way up to the bathroom and it was occupied.
I figured it was omkara.
He doesn't come home anymore.
He always seems busy.
He's in med-school. I guess that's what keeps him busy.
He comes home when I've already for office and goes around the time I come back.
Other than the med school it's his bitch personified
Girlfriend Lila that keeps him busy.
I never once in my life thought that how come
Omkara would be interested in such plastic as her.
At 5'6" she's all fake tits and too big to be real round ass.
She's always caked up in obnoxious makeup like her life depends
On it. She always dresses weird. Her top is one through which
It looks like her boobs will fall out anytime.
Why omkara?

Just to be a reminder for my unrequited attraction he walks out of the bathroom.

chapter 2

I hug him back relishing his warmth.
"Just a bad dream. Besides you are back early?", I say.
"Yeah the surgery that happened today was finished
And we were to attend some classes but they were postponed so here I am",he said.
"So just go and sleep. Use your extra time", I said.
"Can't. I got here around two.So I had time to sleep
And I have classes in about an hour. I was just going to grab my clothes to get ready"he said.
"Oh! I'm also going to office so I think we have to share the bathroom again"I said.
I was so broke on cash that I couldn't move out of our shared apartment.
This was usually the scene whenever we were running late.
We used to use the bathroom together.
Like him using the sink and me showering.
It didn't make any coz we've seen each other naked.
But I avoid seeing him like that coz it really makes my heart flutter.
And it really becomes difficult to hide how I feel.


AVIAR ENTERPRISE INC.

I run in the Aviar Enterprise building late.
Omkara and I had breakfast together which delayed me.
Though it was worth it coz we spent some time together

Thought I'm the Indian here, she sounds like some

We're outside his office and there are all the employees scattered here and here in their cubicles.
Before walking away he turns around and says,"and by the way MS.MALHOTRA it's MR. Oberoi. Your first to me is that you're low on
Professionalism".

I gape at him as he walks away. All employees are staring at us in amusement.
This incident will be the subject of their gossip
For days. My face turns red in anger.
Blood bas***d.
There's something about him that' I can't quite
Put my finger on , but he's insanely infuriating.
He's an idiot.
He knows nothing about this office.
Aaron encouraged friendliness in
The office hence we all used to call each other by our names.
He purposely said it in front of so many
People.
Then I realise he's such a d-bag.

My days will be worse in office and in home!!!!!
I sigh and get back to work!

Amazing.. i liked anika in your story more than the serie..i dont like how they always portray someone so good that even if they will try to kill her she still will give them a chance(so not real).
Your story sounds promising especialy anika's character. Coz in reality no one is a sati savitri( in your words;) ).
