I'm NOT a Shivaay-basher or Annika-hater.I'm NOT Shivaay's advocate or Annika's defender. I'm simply a lover of Shivika and their story.
In fact, I would have been upset if Shivaay hadn't been redeemed and he had to face all this. Then that wouldn't have made us feel for Shivaay as much as we are feeling bad for him now. Because we are supposed to feel bad for Shivaay as much as we felt for Annika on the wedding day!
I have always told Shivika's love story is the definition of a real TAKKAR ka love story. Their story is unique. Their story is not predictable.Their story is not the cliche where the protagonists can do no wrong. NO.
Their story is about the equality and balance. If one is wrong, the other will be wrong in the future. If one is treated unjustly, the other will face the same in the future too. It is all about the parallels.The balance is achieved eventually, just that the timing is VERY VERY unpredictable for us, which is why it comes off as a sin in our perspectives. I won't be wasting time on explaining the same thing again, so please read this post if you have the time.
Today, we are all feeling bad for Shivaay. This is totally uncalled for. This guy has been redeemed already. His redemption is over. Why should he suffer more?
This IS the parallel!
On the wedding day, we were all feeling awful for what happened with Annika. She didn't deserve that too.
Did Annika deserve the force?
Did Annika deserve the unhappy marriage?
Did Annika deserve the heart break?
Did Annika EXPECT Shivaay to do that?
Wouldn't have Annika's trust in Shivaay broken at that time too?
It's all the same which is happening here. It's just that the roles are reversed right now.
Shivaay doesn't deserve this force too.
Shivaay doesn't deserve this separation forced on him too.
Shivaay doesn't deserve this heartbreak too.
Shivaay never expected Annika to do this too.
Shivaay's trust in Annika has broken too.
There are many more parallels which I can draw, but I don't have the time or energy to do it right now.😆 I made a lengthy post but the foolish me clicked on 'clear form' instead. Anyway, I'm sure most of you MUST have noticed the parallels too.
Now, please don't tell me, 'you're saying this because you still believe Shivaay needs to be punished.'
No, I am not. If you know me or have read my posts or comments, you would know that I was, and still I AM among those who feel Shivaay's redemption is over. He doesn't deserve the punishment.

But what you need to know is that this track isn't for Shivaay's redemption! Why would it be? He has been redeemed already.
This track is to give Shivaay his turn to face all that Annika faced in the wedding track. Please note that revenge and parallel aren't the same thing. What is happening now with Shivaay is a parallel track, not revenge.
Apart from the wedding parallels, this track is for Shivaay's growth. Whatever Annika said in yesterday's and today's episode is the truth. It is bitter, but it is the truth. This track is for Shivaay to grow from those. This track is for their relationship together. It is NOT for Shivaay or Annika individually.
So far in this relationship, it has been Shivaay's Annika. Now, it's time for this relationship to grow so that Annika's Shivaay happens too. It is again about the equality. They both have to be Shivaay's Annika, and Annika's Shivaay to become 'Takkar ke', and to become equals from every angle.
So, although Shivaay doesn't deserve any of this, this HAS to happen. It has to happen for Shivika's story and for Shivika's growth.
I expected Annika to be the worst and to stoop to the lowest because this is her turn to be the villain. I was confused when it didn't happen yesterday. That made me pull my hair thinking why Harneet wasn't making Annika a completely disgusting character. She made Shivaay the worst in the wedding track. He was disgusting to think about as a hero. Why hasn't Annika gotten the same treatment in this track or story? Why this unjustice with Annika? I was SO CONFUSED! Because this track is for Annika to be the worst. The path has been cleared for her to be the devil. Then why wasn't she being one?!
I got my answer today. Today Annika stooped really low. She became the worst, and I am a pretty satisfied viewer right now. 😆
I won't say Annika was butchered today. I'll say ASSO is just born today.
If you want to be satisfied too, then just remember Shivika, and what their story is all about. 😉
PS: If you don't share the same opinion as mine, then it's okay. I respect your opinion because at the end of the day, we all fell in love with Shivika and watch this show only for them.
