Of course the kid that plays Baji is impressive. These are the actors of the new era. And I appreciate it more because they are fulfilling quite sincerely and authentically their respective roles. Rather than being cutesy cutesy for the sake of being a kid, which is unfortunately the tendency with most shows that have a kid thrown in just to act all cutesy, sweet etc with no dimension in particular.
At least the children are respected in that they can also partake in the intensity that drives the show. In fact that was part of , think it was Shahuji speech and criticism of discrimination due to age, where he was valuing Bajis depth of intellect.
Balaji and Radhabhai further add to the depth and are equally impressive. The whole cast are. Chandrasen as the conniving sly man had expressed his inner confliction and insecurity well where beneath the grim nature you see his fragility as he confronts his father.
I love this show, love coming him to watch it after work and get lost in its history. I love anything to do with Ancient Indian civilization/history/myth basically anything set back in Ancient times as it really does transport you to a different place even though sometimes its messages can find relevance with living in the modern world.
