Hi friends😊I came up with this weird idea as many of you had requested me to write based on the current track. Hope you guys like it. Future parts will be updated based on the likes and comments(if its satisfactory for readers this will be updated really soon as its based on current track). Fair warning slightly illogical.Kindly read till the end before jumping to conclusion. Not proof read.
Renaissance - ice and fire
"Nakli, what are you doing?"asked Anika over phone to someone who was standing on top of the giant wheel located by the side of her restaurant. Yes. Her new restaurant which she had started after... after she left him. Or should we say after she was thrown out by him. But being Anika, she gathered up her broken heart and life and strived really hard to get back on track with her life. And in all honesty she has been doing a splendid job in this second innings of her life. The restaurant which hse had started before two months was already the talk of the town. Mrs.Rana aka mallika who was one of the investors of the restaurant had done a splendid job in designing the restaurant and the recreation area to entertain customers who come to dine in "Renaissance". Renaissance means rebirth and this restaurant was the rebirth of Anika who was previously frozen to death by An icy cold storm called shivaay. The blitzkrieg her heart had faced in those times was something words would always fail to express. It hurts, it still hurts . How could it not hurt when she had loved him with all her soul? But ... what cannot be cured must be endured. She was trying her best to endure life.
"Ah... yes DA. Oh i didn't think of. I don't know na? Sorrryyy" pleaded a familiar voice in an unfamiliar way.
If it wasn't for the black orbs Anika would die an instant death by her memories everytime she saw or spoke to him. Its not like, she didn't remember shivaay now when she saw Nakli but things were better than before now. Yes, it was Mahi to whom she was talking to. In order to avoid the flash of memories which would come rushing back, when he called her bhabhi and her as mahi or devar to him , they both had come to a mutual agreement that she would call him "nakli" and him as "DA". What was DA? "Dhasu Anika!!" which meant awesome Anika. And he meant it.
Ever since Anika had come to into his life as a friend, companion, a loving sister and bhabhi (in his heart she was , although he feared mentioning about her bhabhi status would hurt her because of her haunting memories) she had brought loads and loads of happiness shower to his desert like life. He had always thanked god for bringing such a beautiful soul into his life. He thanked his brother too. If not for his marriage for Anika, they never would have met. He equally felt sad for his brother that he had to loose such a prized person in his life.
Being with Anika had changed Mahi in many folds. He was no longer sober about his life. She had inspired him to face every hurdle and win over it. She had made him realise the worth of hard work. She had made him optimistic. Anika was not a mother. But does the word mother associate only with one who gives birth? Mother also means to nurture ,to care, to promise , to support and more importantly to act as a cradle of hope in this confusing world unconditionally. Yes. Unconditional love is mother's love. The reverence which mahi had for anika was nothing less of what a child has for his mother. Having had a dark childhood , he saw her as a motherly figure too. Anika and sahil gave him the family he had always longed to have and he had vowed his life to ensure their safety and happiness. In the deepest chambers of his heart, he prayed that Anika and shivaay should reunite together for he knew their love is a God promised one and no matter how much they deny, they both will feel incomplete without the other.
Mahi was standing in one of the top Giant wheel cages. Giant wheel?Oh.. you heard it right. It was the combined idea of the crazy duo of Anika and mallika. It was a part of the external recreation area of the restaurant. Who would have thought that a restaurant would have a giant wheel? Not me. Sirf Manika duo. So in order to realise their crazy idea they had bought a giant wheel and were trying to recoat it. It was not a usual giant wheel, the cages and seats were made of polished wood. After all, renaissance being the theme, its only relatable to have wooden seats and cages isn't it? Mahi tried to take things to himself when the professionals had left for lunch break. He along with a few other assistants started painting. But being rookie, he didn't think that every cage can be brought to ground surface and can be painted. So he took the varnish case containing 2 large bottles with him to coat over the wooden seats at the top so that it gave a royal finish to the giant wheel.
Only after Anika saw the madness of Mahi and giant wheel, she called him and reminded him of the joke he has been playing. Feeling stumped mahi stopped the madness and signalled the operator to rotate it down. Even before mahi sat, the operator operated the giant wheel causing mahi to slightly loose balance and he tossed the varnish case and the brush outside while trying to balance himself in the cage while clutching the sides. Just then a BMW which was taking a turn towards their restaurant entered their premises. Due to the force, the altitude wind and fate, the brush and the case took a parabolic path and hit the car's body. The brush have fallen from such a height caused a crack on the wind shield while both the bottles broke on the surface of the car causing it smell .
"Fhat the wuck!!" Yelled the guy who had come out furiously from the driver's seat and removed his RayBan glasses. He had marched quite a distance from the car in anger. Mahi who had already reached the ground had started running towards the car to apologise but got shocked on seeing who it was. What shocked him more was that there was an annoying faced girl with shimmering gold dress holding his brother's hands. Yes his brother.
Shivaay singh oberoi. He didn't know how he felt looking at him after a long time. Last time he had met shivaay,was when he had fought for him. Usually he would be glad to see him, atleast at a distance, but now that he had come to the same place where DA was and that too with a new vamp who looked like yet another NKK chick caused him to feel nauseous. He was afraid of how Anika would feel and react?
The loud noise and the yelling had already set the ball rolling. Even before mahi could think of damage control , damage had started. Anika had come out and had come face to face with an icy cold looking raging shivaay, whose hand was caged by vampy long nails of the new NKK devil in town named meghna.
Anika felt heartbroken and humiliated. "How could he? Its been just 3 months. How could he move on so fast? Here i am still fighting his memories while he is flaunting his girlfriend right in my face... did our relationship matter only that much to you?i wanted you to be happy shivaay . Yes . I left you for you to be happy always. But this... that too this fast... it hurts... makes me feel like an idiot" sobbed her heart. But Anika being Anika wanted to put on a brave facade that it didn't hurt. Having lived with stone oberoi had its charm on her. She looked stone faced.
Meghna, shivaay's new business partner has been having a crush on him. Although shivaay has been purely official, she longed for more from him. He has become her obsession. She had always wanted to be with him, talk to him, feel him and make him touch her. So using this loud nouse and unexpected event, she clutched his hand using fear as a facade. Shivaay had the biggest shock of his life when he saw Anika AGAIN. That too near this farzi guy. He fumed. "Am i that easy to forget? You have found another guy and you are happy while you had made my life miserable. How was it so easy for you to move on? What do you think in your mind woman? I would make sure you will not forget me again. Shivaay singh oberoi always pays with interest. Mark my words Anika" raged his mind.
He held meghna's face with his right hand and asked "Are you fine?" While looking at Anika. Anika diverted her vision on seeing him appear intimate with meghna. It felt like a 100 knives were pierced in her skin. Unable to get solid reaction from Anika, shivaay went back to his initial anger and yelled for spoiling his car. The car which was 10 ft from their location of face off. The restaurant employees and mahi tried to pacify shivaay but he was reluctant. Anika was trying to remain silent but shivaay was hell bent on provoking her.
"You people don't know with whom you are messing with... Am shivaay singh oberoi. I can and i will do anything i want. Don't you dare to even stand in front of me you dirt... do you have any shame that youu are still talking to me? After all the third class activities you have done?" said shivaay pushing mahi.
Mahi had tears in his eyes that he is in such a helpless position to hear such words fron his own brother. "Stop it. Don't you dare to utter another word." yelled Anika completely disgusted with the way shivaay had behaved with Mahi.
This infuriated shivaay further. "Dare?!! Forgot what shivaay singh oberoi is capable of doing? I can and i will do Anything. ANYTHING. My car is expensive than both your lives. I would destroy you both.i want my car clean. NOW. YOU. ONLY YOU MUST GO AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING LEFT ON THE CAR. UNDERSTAND." yelled shivaay at Anika.
Just then a tall well built suit cladded curly haired manly guy entered the premises and reached the quarrel area. "What happened now shivaay?" asked the curly haired guy while taking out a cigarette and placing it in his mouth. His assistant was ready with the lighter and before he could light the cigarette, Anika plucked the lighter.
She threw it over Shivaay's car. Varnish being highly inflammable and petrol being no less did the wonder. The car was set ablaze and soared high into the air due to thrust. Everyone backed far away , looking at the highly expensive car set into fire . Shivaay was stunned at what had happened. Meghna and curly haired guy no less. Every single person in the premise was shell shocked by Anika's action.
"I made sure nothing is left in your car Mr.shivaay singh oberoi. Spare your tadi for others. Not with me" said Anika while leaving inside to the restaurant. Mahi and other restaurant employees tried quenching the fire. Thankfully none of the cars , people or their recreation area was near the place where anika had set on fire. Literally on fire.
Shivaay broke his mobile in anger. Meghna was infuriated too. Khanna ji who had stopped near the gate had recorded the entire sequence on camera. He called someone and said " nothing has changed. Sirji and madam ji are still the best takkar jodi. I have recorded high quality video will give yiu soon". Shivaay vowed to settle score with Anika. He was enraged.
"What is wrong with her. How can she talk like that... that too to us? I would rip off her skin... hey why are you smiling ayan" fumed Meghna. The curly haired guy was meghna's brother and a highly successful businessman Ayan. Ayan who seemed to have been in daze while smiling like an idiot said "she is feisty. I like it. Thats my kind".
Shivaay felt like a 30 devils had slapped him right in his face. He was blood shocked. "What?" yelled shivaay and meghna in unison. " i said i like her" said ayan in a chill manner. Shivaay felt the day has become worse and worse . Ayan was equally a devil like him. Both in business and in whimsy. He never had the habit of listening to no just like him. Now that he had set eyes on Anika caused an unknown acidic reaction in his heart and stomach which caused him to feel nauseous.
Khannaji who was on phone also felt stumped on hearing ayan said "this time there are more people in this takkar race "
Was khannaji right? What more is gonna happen? How would shivaay settle scores with Anika? What would Ayan do?
Should i continue?
This took a while to get complete thought process. Would continue based on response. No pms sent. Let me be honest am not sure how this has come out. So no chamelis please
