Did Samay exploit Maya for doing a favor to her and then Maya -in return for his evil act & wickedness, actually started loving Samay? Is that the correct interpretation of what maya told Arjun?

And worse, was she ready to sacrifice her life by burning herself, to prove her love to Rajeev?

Was she saying that Samay was very obsessive in love, but she was just truthful to him?

If Samay was her first love & she was truthful to him (despite he being an exploiter) then, why was her love to him not beyhadh unlike the current one to Arjun, even though her childhood insecurities existed since long?Are her so called childhood insecurities only selective?

Of course, she hiding the truth and merely saying Samay returned to come and haunt her again is quite understandable! But why should he marry Saanjh to get Maya? How does it play-out? What is the logic here?

And why should he attempt to kill Saanjh, if he is interested in Maya? Why is she telling this to Arjun, knowing him fully that he would only go back to Saanjh? What is Maya's plan here, to push Arjun towards Saanjh or keep him away from Saanjh?

What are we hearing? Can someone who understood her recent FBs shown yesterday explain these kind of strange responses of Maya?

Friday's episode had got me thinking that Maya had, 8 years ago, started loving Samay. But last night's episode again opened up a can of new possibilities. When Samay asked for proof of her love, she was willing to die for him. But when Samay realized his love for her and hugged her, Maya was shown to be reluctant to touch his head. This, imo, meant that Maya never actually loved Samay. Samay on the pretext of helping her, used her for his benefits and Maya, who's definition of power is control, was actually helpless in that situation. In such a scenario what better way for her to gain back her power, than by making Samay fall crazily in love with her!

Regarding Maya telling Arjun that Saanjh's life is in danger because of Samay, I think this is all a huge setup for Samay to be eliminated from Maya's life. Maya told some part of the truth to Arjun and then by telling Arjun that his dusky is in danger, she has actually successfully evaded all the questions which Arjun might had asked her if he had the time. But arjun's priority was saving Saanjh and he did not bother about the whats, whos, and whys about Samay and Maya's past.

Maya is the master manipulator. To get rid of Mr. freakshow she set a trap. With her honey-sweet voice and charm she found her way into his head. When he asked if she could give her life up for his love, she put 2 and 2 together and won his trust and love. And this is the story how Rajeev became Maya's pet. Now this pet is endangering her future plans with hubby, so she must shoo him away.

I don't know what this Rajeev/Samay has up his sleeves. How his marriage plans with Saanjh cement his relationship with Maya? That's we've gotta watch. But now, Duffer is off to save his dusky, that will give Maya an ample time to cook up another mess to entangle Arjun even more. For the sake of continuity of his plans, I don't think Samay would actually kidnap Maya. So she might stage it all up. Samay would be blamed for everything and land up in jail with the end of this phase.

PS: Am I the only one who found Raj-Ma's love confession pretty weird?

As per latest spoilers, Maya and Samay are missing from the wedding and speculations are rife that Samay kidnapped Maya. But like you, even I feel that it's Maya who has actually abducted Samay. This is all an elaborate plan by her to frame Samay by later crying foul that Samay kidnapped her. But Samay isn't the one to stay quiet. He can easily show proofs of Maya framing Ayan or killing Ashwin. Let's wait and watch what Maya has up her sleeve to tackle him.

I agree with your reasoning!
Part1: Samaya was a mere 'love drama' from Maya's POV, while Rajeev utilized her as some kind of a "fringe benefit"! So, there was no true love & hence there was no betrayal too!
As far as his obsession part is concerned, he is still lusting her for physical needs & no emotional involvement at all! Otherwise, how would he tolerate her loving & marrying and even bearing a child for Arjun!
Now, he is trying to convert her pre-marital affairs as extra-marital affairs and that is why he has no problems in marrying Saanjh! He is not going to be loyal to Saanjh but since it serves the cause of Maya to separate Saanjh from Arjun, Maya wants it to happen & he is extracting his pound of flesh from her!
But, Maya is reluctant to go extra-marital even though she did it for him prior to marrying Arjun! That is her dilemma! Right?

Part 2: Maya has revived her links with Rajeev and resuming this sordid drama only to keep Arjun & Saanjh away from each other, permanently!Now, since her plan has backfired, she is even ready to push Arjun to Saanjh, only to get rid of Samay? So, she accepts her defeat and is looking for an escape route! It is still not clear how she hopes to get a face-saver, once Samay starts spilling the beans! May be, she is hoping that Samay will die without telling anything! HOW??? Even if so, what happens to his threat if he dies, the incriminating documents would find its way to Arjun? She does not care or disbelieves his threat? If so, then why not do it much before? What is the need to go back to him again& again? She could have stayed firm like now she is forced to take such a risk!

Maya lacks planning and she is not all that invincible as was believed or so!

Her insecurities are bound to grow with this failure and her fears & frustrations will stay only to haunt her in future too!

Same my point of view after watching yesterday' s episode, but still am confused about their past as per FBs, cvs are not showing it properly, they are purposely keeping audience confused.

and regarding her truth to Arjun, Maya told him the twisted truth according to her which made Arjun to believe that only Samay/Rajeev was bad not Maya and she was tortured by Samay then and now.

Yeah! He can show Arjun proofs, if any of his proofs are left to show. I mean I have a theory, I can be totally wrong,so...I think Samay has made a dumb move by showing Maya every evidence he has got against her. She might have destroyed every proof by now.

But recent segments suggest Maya is in an asylum with a baby bump. So I don't know if she has been admitted post-leap or pre-leap. But this makes me doubt my assumption. So, let's just wait and watch how it goes.

may be this is possible that now Maya know about the proofs which Samay have, she do something to eliminate proofs from Samay's hold and outsmart Samay.
