exactly. but this has more to do with ignorance and hesitation related to toilet talk.

I hope one thing the movie also highlights that how people neglect Kitchen and Toilet construction when they make houses. I am seen people mostly go on and on about how they want their bedroom, sitting room, drawing room, guest room. balcony, garden and so on and on. But hardly people in general invest much thought in the development of sanitation when building houses.

That's not the only problem. Building toilets for public spaces and slum areas are not difficult. Govt can build 100 toilets in a slum area but the problem won't solve itself. The problem is the attitude of people towards sanitation and the maintenance of said toilets/toilet usage etiquette.

You're right. I get why people living in poverty are hesitant about that. But I see that well to do people are also apathetic the about basic sanitation issue. Even if the govt provides toilets, most people don't clean up after themselves after using it. Maintenence hence is such a big issue and why public toilets are so inaccessible. The first problem is building toilets, then how people use the facility provided, then the toilets being well equipped with TP, pads/tampons, and special cubicles for disabled people.
The govt can charge few cents for using public toilets like in Germany to maintain them but the etiquette is always absent.
I guess let alone toilets for disabled and the general population, the toilets in schools, workplaces ain't that great either.
