Chapter 1: Moving To Gwalior

"Are we there a voice beside me said which snapped me out of the reverie.
"Are ... I cut her off in between.
"Sumo can you please shut ur mouth, it's like 50th time in a complete 1 hour u asked the same question, when we will reach there, driver will inform us
"You know I am very excited to reach there, there we can make new frnds...from there her blabbering started which I think will not stop till we reach our destination.
Hey where are my manners I forgot to introduce myself I am "RIYA NIKET Daughter of AIR MARSHAL "TARUN NIKET "and "SAKSHI NIKET and the one who is seated beside me is my best friend or you can say sister Sumo aka "SUMAN NIKET. I met suman when I was in class 7th she was my classmate I was new in at that time due my father transfer to Ahmedabad base quarter. I was a kind of introvert so I never approached for friendship and also everyone thought of me as a freak so they just let me go. It was Almost two months after I arrived at that place but still there was no one whom I could call friends. It was not until our last day before vacation that the English teacher assigned us a project for which she had partnered the students. Lucky me that I hadn't partnered with a guy, it would have been a hard time as I doesn't go through boys, but unfortunately I had been partnered up with class coolest girl "Suman. At first I thought she was like those stuck up bitches who thought themselves as queen but boy I was totally wrong she might had been popular but have been good at heart to everyone. She is beautiful with her heart and attitude which I die to have. After that project we were getting along well and she became my best friend. As days passed by she told me everything about her and I told of myself. She also came to my house very often as we were living in outskirts from where her orphanage was like 100 steps ahead. My parents treated her like their own daughter. Everything was going smoothly until one day I noticed some bruises on her cheeks, she didn't tell me about that at moment but after sometime I came to know that her orphanage maidens were giving her a hard time. After some thinking about how I can make her escape that place I came up with an idea and proposed it to my parents they happily agreed. ADOPTION. Yes I suggest them to adopt suman as their daughter as I am the only daughter of parents so they agreed as they know it will make me happy. Then I asked suman about it at first she disagreed and thought of her as a burden on my family but later on after convincing her she reluctantly agreed. I know she pretend to be strong in front of us but deep down I know she is afraid of losing especially me. We are like inseparable we can't have a fight for than an hour. We have a great bond that a blood related sisters couldn't have As we were promoted to class 10th dad told us about his transfer to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.
Actually due to my transfer we have to shift, so here we travelling via road to Gwalior stuck with my stupid sister. My parents are seated in the car in front of us and we are following there track.
"Ro you zoned out on me like 5th time a day Suman voice broke my trance.
"What can I say in that u are very boring u know that's why I zoned out I said teasingly to her.
"Very funny She retorted back. Then there was complete silence for one minute like she was thinking something.
"Ro I am bored
"So what can I do?
"Let's do something
"Like what
"Let's pretend that we are in the class introducing ourselves to the students, I am afraid that I will make fun of myself in front of them
I look at her in utter shock.
"What? She asked
"U are afraid of making fun of urself like really, instead of u I should be the one saying that. Your aura only speaks confident Sumo, just be cool
"Riya it was previous school not the coming one, there nobody knows us u know, we have to start everything from the beginning
"Sumo just chill, everything we be alright. Don't take tension
(SUMAN POV)
We were travelling from last two days, I am tired as hell. But still I am very excited to reach Gwalior you know making new friends, meeting new teachers, and getting to see whole new surroundings.
(1 hour later)
Finally we reached our destination, we are currently in the Air Force guest house as our house inside the campus is going through renovation.
We are still in the car as mom warned us not to get out of the car; I came to know from our driver that we are staying near a temple which is a famous tourist spot of Gwalior it is called as "sun temple.
I turned to Riya and find her in her own world with her headphone onn enjoying the music beats by bobbing her head side she such a cutie.
I shook her to make her come outa her world.
"What she snapped at me.
"Geez, girl what crawl up to your ass I asked teasingly.
"Nothing, now say what you want
"Oh I was saying that we getting to leave beside temple cool na we could hang out sometime there and also u can have your
"Really' she looked towards the window to see the temple Thank god now I can have peace somewhere or else certain someone want to disturb me there too She said while narrowing her eyes at me.
"What, I don't do anything. I only help u get out of the boredom I said innocently like I don't do anything.
"Oh really out of all excuses you got this one as to disturb my studies she said.
"I didn't do anything I said while making a puppy dog face which she can't resist.
"Yeah whatever she said getting back to her music.
You know I disturb riya a lot while she studies, it seems to be very funny while she is being irritated, it distract her too from studying.
Riya is a quite nerd, she always seems to be engrossed in some sort of novels or new textbooks, and I don't know how she can bare studying whole day. But I love her in any way she is. She is my best friend and the best sista that no one can have. She is the most cheerful person I had ever met. She is just too innocent to harm anyone which seems to worry me, she don't even raise her voice at anyone, she is nave and a shy girl who seems not to approach anyone first. She is the true friend everyone asks for nowadays. She is my angel my little sis, we are of same age but she acts like my lil sis so I often call her that, even though we have same birthdays. When she came to my life everything changed she changed it, my life become easier than in foster homes. She is not only a beauty from outside but from inside too, she has a heart which aches to help everyone.
I came out of my reverie from a wave of hand,
"Huh what
"What, what. I was calling out for you from last 5 mins, what were you thinking she cringe her brows upwards.
"Some stuffs
"Okay, if u doesn't want to tell me it's okay she said assuring herself.
"Ro listen here bae, it is nothing important, you know na how my brain is, it seems to be thinking a lot by itself which seems to distract me she grinned at me.
"Yeah I know how your brain works
"Hey I forget to tell you mom said to pack some necessary stuffs for a week riya said
I nodded in answer.
We quickly packed some necessity than walk to mom with our bags.
"Listen here kiddos we are going to live here for a week I guess than we will shift inside the campus, got that mom said
"Yes mom "Yes mommy we said together in a singing tone.
Mom chuckled at our antics.
"Not be the good girls and go to your freshen up then have dinner there only okay and then go to sleep as my beauties are going to school tomorrow
"What
"Yup you heard correct you both are going to school tomorrow, so get to bed early tonight
"But... we started off but soon cutted of by our great mother.
"No buts mom said in a warning tone.
"Mom you said butts we chuckles together.
"Yea...ah whatever, maid we will come to your room shortly, Goodnight mom said hurriedly and went away.
We grinned at each other and ran to our showed by one of the maid.
We got everything done and went to sleep after chatting for a while.
I slept with one thought in my mind, "NEW SCHOOL.
