Kudos to the whole team of DBO for giving us this goodbye scene

Mais that was absolutely beautiful! 👏👏 The way you found the exact words to portray what was taking place between Om and Gauri!
This was a very emotional episode but as we all know, now finally Om wil marry Gauri with full consent because of BuaMaa... I love the part where you said about them getting married with full consent and having time to fix everything! Hopefully now we will get to see a proper friendship between our beloved couple, Rikara! 😳

Thank you so much for writing this Mais! I have always loved your analysis on particular scenes and this seems to be the best of it! 👏

That goodbye scene was achingly lovely - no question. After the fun fake-mance, it was great to see what's roiling beneath the surface - there's that gehra connection even if neither really knows what to make of it. I do wish that awkward reaching for a hug had been better choreographed, it didn't look real esp. Omkara's reaching for the hug. The hands clasping, holding on and letting go ever so reluctantly was very nicely done though.

I agree that it's a lot more satisfying to see Gauri acknowledge that her blind devotion to Om stems from her gratitude for his saving her life rather than the pati parameshwar trope which really needs to be retired for there to be any hope of changing an entrenched patriarchal mindset.

At this point it definitely seems like Om is more into Gauri than the other way around even if he's the one who seems more reluctant and the one fighting it harder. He's the one who feels the electricity, who seems mesmerized by her beauty, who is admiring of her goofiness. She's aware of him as a man but her overwhelming emotion towards him seems like gratitude. Between IB and DBO, this was a banner day for Rikara ; they're at an interesting point in their journey as a jodi. I hope the bua maa drama doesn't go batshit crazy like the Multi-Lana plot. Norman Bates-esque Bua Maa I can deal with but anything more crazy would be tough to take. Waiting to see what tomorrow brings! 😊

your are absolutly right gauri feelings for om are confusing more than om feelings for her
SOMTIMES i feel his faaling for her but she is just thankful for we nerver had a scene when she is affected with his words or reaction and i meean nice one either toward her or is family
cv need to show more feeling of gauri

I don't know if relationships always need to be equal and run at the same pace at every point for both partners. Her overwhelming sense of gratitude seems understandable if not appropriate - not just for Om's courage in doing the right thing and the lack of a selfish motive in saving her but as a stranger being embraced by his family. Clearly she's not had that and is missing that sense of family. Love will eventually catch up with and surpass gratitude, I'm looking forward to the journey. 😃

This was so beautiful... what was/were in the scene translated here...completely.
The unspoken words weighed so much on them yet were overtaken by that single "bye".
He did not want to say anything else...she could not say anything else.
