Today's epi I feel in a way confirmed my fears that things are going to go downhill for this show with the start of avneil marriage track. I hope then that he does in fact start planning and collecting evidence against daya, if he is keeping avni away from planning anything against them.
even if he does collect evidence, it'll be unsatisfying to see that for me as a viewer. this is avni's revenge. he can support from behind the scene and stop her from doing wrong or going overboard- thats how theyve developed till now and onwards. i dont care about how neil saved avni from daya, she can do that herself. i was here to see how he saves her from herself. i wanna see avni growing bonds with the family and going into normalcy and the struggle of that comfort versus fulfilling her plans. not ghar ka drama. i mean avni and neela mustve had a plan beyond buying mehta house. what was that? what were they gonna do to get amol back? what would happen to rhea? howd daya fight back? hope tmrw is better
I think neela buying the mehta house was less about reforming amol, but more to do with actually teaching daya a lesson, especially considering that daya used that same money and power she always gloated about to hide all the heinous acts she committed, and the auctioning off of her property and neela and avni buying it would be a big slap in daya's face, more so when daya finds out ananya is avni and now she owns the same house and is living in it, in contrast to years back when daya was living in that house and committing all those atrocities against avni, the same avni she refused to call the daughter of that house would be living in that house whilst daya would be on the road. That would have made for great revenge.
