NaiRan & MeghNal

- If we have a close look, there are rather uncanny observations to make between the two couples. Meghna & Karan are weirdly similar. Both have the same capacity of getting angered soon. As a control measure, both of them cut off communication with their partners immediately. They generally like things to have their way and it takes a lot of struggle to make them understand the 'other' POV. You need really good vocal skills or sometimes, extreme resistance to put across your point. On the other hand, Naina & Kunal are similar : calm and cool - like to talk things out. They don't take ultimate decisions in a few minutes and have the patience and composure to get hold of the situation before reaching, unlike their spouses. As a result, they're often left unattended and unasked, somewhere lost in the other's firmness and stubbornness.

- The scenes, as they're put, are rather brilliant. Just zooming out on the events, there is a pattern that one draws in the flow of events.

For everything a partner does, in the long run, there's a similar thing done by the other partner. Let's take some examples :

1) MeghNal :

- The First Date v/s Missing The Pooja - Kunal had taken Meghna out without permission on the Sangeet night that put a lot of troubles on Naina. And to reciprocate it, Meghna took Kunal out after marriage, to create troubles again. Both outings were intentional and had bad consequences.

- The Loan Conflict v/s The Disease Controversy : Kunal was upset with Meghna cause she didn't share the fact that she'd taken a loan to pay off Sharda's debts. Similarly, Meghna too was upset as Kunal didn't tell her about Karan's disease (let's ignore that he too didn't know it). Both took away pillows from bed and refused to talk to one another until things sorted out in the same way.

- The Forced Marriage v/s The Separation : Meghna was unhappy with Kunal for not understanding her and allowing the conditional marriage. Now, Kunal too is upset with Meghna for not listening to him and separating the duo. As it is, Marriage & Separation are themselves opposite of each other.

- Kunal supporting Sharda v/s Meghna supporting Nirmala

2) NaiRan :

- The Swimming Pool Falls : Needless to explain :p

- Dosti Extended v/s The First Handshake : Naina extended her hand in the spirit of friendship and Karan reciprocated it by shaking hands later.

- The time when Naina removed dirt from Karan's eyes in MeghNal marriage v/s the music shop scene

- Both were adamant to sleep in the storeroom and hurt each other at different points of time

- Karan saving Naina from sticks v/s Naina saving Karan from NK

- Naina encouraging Karan during competition v/s Karan lighting up her mood after a fight with Meghna

...

And there's a special incident : NaiRan had saved MeghNal during their engagement dance and it's time MeghNal save NaiRan's collapsing marriage. Kunal is already into it and Meghna will follow suit soon after she knows everything.

Predictions : Based on the reflective scene format :

- Kunal unintentionally harming Meghna and then comforting her and repenting his mistake.

- Karan tending to Naina's wounds or a sprain or something.

- Meghna standing up for Kunal and protecting him from scolds or taking the blame on herself

- Naina taking career guidance from Karan or taking his help for studying or pursuing a field

I've always equated Karan and Meghna as they have a lot of similarities. They are sort of the "issue" people compared to their respective partners.

But I'd say that even Naina and Kunal have impulse control issues at times. In Naina's initial meeting with Karan, she was very quick to pass judgment and "punish" him without knowing all the details. Kunal's also rushed to act a few times without considering the consequences. But I think Kunal and Naina have learned to accommodate for the respective partner's "issues" a bit more. I think part of it is that Meghna and Karan are just more emotional characters. Kunal and Naina are more guarded-- although i can't wait for their guards to drop.

I agree with your predictions. Although I think we've seen some of them. Kunal unintentionally harming Meghna-- was sort of the forced marriage debacle. We've seen him comfort her and repenting his mistakes.

We've seen Karan tending to Naina's wounds with Vishal. He can't do much more until his disease clears up.😆

I can't wait to see MeghNal helping NaiRan. I hope it goes that way. But I don't know if I see NaiRan getting together that quickly. Its a TV show and usually they drag out the main pairing. Things will have to get worse before the get better. Maybe for both Meghnal and NaiRan.
