Breeze, Love, Reckless

Sometimes it feels like you are so alone even when surrounded with people. You smile at them when they talk to you but they don't know the truth. They don't know that one can be isolated even in a crowd. Is it weird that I loved to be alone with myself. I used to think I would never need a person to make me feel complete. But it all changed when I met him. He was like a cool breeze which, when touched me, I felt alive.

As I saw him from a distance, I realised that we were worlds apart, so different. Coincidence is a funny thing, I met him again and we talked. Small things that he did for me, I felt loved. They say Opposites Attract. Maybe that was the case with us because being with him, having his friendship made me feel free. I was always the conservative one, never doing anything out of line but it didn't mean I didn't want to. I wanted to go bungee jumping, to go hiking or camping in a jungle. I have always wanted to explore these adventures.

Something always stopped me from taking that step, held me back but I wanted to let go and be reckless for once in my life. Some people you meet in life are not meant to stay but they teach you great lessons. He taught me how to live, how to love myself and I am proud to say I did all of those things and realised nothing is indefinite, its ephemeral and that's life it. It changes and you change with it.
