Let's not lose focus here on the facts.
FACT: Prinku eloped with ACP Randhawa. She willingly walked out with him through the back door hand in hand. Annika didn't have to persuade her , she went by herself.
It is Prinku who broke her brother's hearts today. Shivaay and Om were very angry, very sure that he had blackmailed her again, but she pleaded on his behalf ,saying he's the Mausi's pawn. And that he truly loved her, and she him.
It was Prinku who pushed Shivaay away from her "husband" today, breaking his heart. He was protecting his sister from this crazed obsessive man, and SHE pushed him away. That look he and Om exchanged was disbelief, and shock.
That was the issue.
ACP may be in love with Prinku, but what he did to Annika is unforgivable. What Prinku did by conspiring was also unforgivable. She let Annika be blamed for everything that happened.
Just by opening the door, and leaving , Annika did all this? Is Prinku a pet rabbit or something that left the house and got eaten? She could have easily walked out herself. Annika was not required.
Annika is a victim here. She was thrust into the spotlight and put on the spot by judge, executioner Shivaay Singh Oberoi at his height of bad temper.
He was furious but he gave her a chance to explain her involvement in this. He kept his voice down as long as he could but Annika could not explain herself without digging a bigger hole for herself.
So she looked like the sinner, the conspirator. He saw the CCTV, he remembered her asking to hear Prinku out, and he judged her wrongly. And Pinky was expertly wielding him like a marionette, leading him up to the peak.
He told her to leave before he said anything worse, and she ran off to their room , heartbroken and in agony. God, I hate to see Annika cry like that.
Gauri doesn't think Annika is capable of such an act against the family, and does Om. She asks him if they can to anything to help Shivaay and Annika through this, but he tells her to butt out and leave them alone.
Annika got dragged into this mess by Pinky's design and ACP's help. He claimed Annika helped them, and thanked her for it.
Why did they believe it? Did they not remember how she was the point man in the plan to oust Farzi Shivaay-ACP-Kamini? Did they not remember she was the one who shielded Shivaay from being taken away when his plan went awry?
Did they not remember her telling Kamini off for trying to trick Prinku by blackmail?
Today they cast her as a conspirator, when their own Khoon was the one who eloped with a man and walked in hand in hand. Issue wasn't Annika at all.
Prinku is crying incessantly. Her guilt trip will eat her alive. It's her fault Shivaay has misunderstood Annika. She will open her mouth and confess, when Ranveer tells her the truth. If he truly loves her he should put her out of her guilt.
I am sticking around to see what happens when Prinku spills the beans.
EDIT : How can I forget the only memorable scene at the beginning before all the upset.
Annika is asked by the mehendi artist, "Whose name do i write?" before Annika could open her mouth, Shivaay comes and says aloud, with full tadi , "Shivaay" ... and he winks at her.
Not that cutesy wala wink ok, this was unfinished business kind of wink ... ☺️.. Annika looked back and blushed.
Father comes to speak to him, he is lost in thoughts of Annika...
"I too have something to say..." He says looking at her...
