Nairan OS - I Love Her or Not?

Karan was sitting in his usual chair and reading a book. Naina came into the room hurriedly. He looked up and asked, Naina Kya hua?. She told abt how his mother was actually a singer and how dadaji had revealed this truth to her and her di. He was shocked to say the least. He had spent so many years of his life seeing his mum and never knew that she could sing but as usual his special friend got to know. She was something special and there was no doubt about it. She explained to him about how his father had heartlessly broken his mother instruments and broken her heart. He was not surprised by this for his father rarely showed anyone his affection apart from Kunal and Khyati. Right now she was inquiring whether it was possible to fix them. He explained how he was not experienced enough to repair such old age instruments and it was best for them to take it to the shop. She agreed.

After a hour or so of arguing with the shop keeper, Karan had finally convinced the man that he wanted those instruments repaired as soon as possible. While waiting for the man to repair it, Naina suggested they have tea. Karan nodded and they walked towards a nearby tea stall. They both sat down and discussed about how wonderful the weather was when suddenly a large gust of wind blew into Nainas eyes. She winced and rubbed her eyes in pain. Seeing Naina in discomfort Karan bought his hands close to help but stopped realising he couldn't touch her. She saw his concern and offered him her dupatta. He slowly used it to remove the dirt piece in her eye. He blew softly and gently. Some tears dropped from her eyes he carefully wiped it too. Their eyes met as it has been quite a lot in the past few days. His heart stopped beating as he saw her eyes flutter at him, she was so beautiful, he thought. He snapped out as a boy came to them with their tea. Naina slowly took both glasses and carefully passed one to Karan. He smiled. For a moment he forgot all the sorrows in his life. It was as if god fulfilled his only wish to have Naina by his side. He felt normal. He felt belonged. Their eyes met again. He realised he must have been staring at her. Again he had to find some words to cover up himself. Thank you Naina he said quickly. She was surprised. Tum mujhe thank kyun kar rahe ho? mujhe hi tumhe thank you kehna chahiye kyunki tumne Meri ankhon se woh sab nikhala, she replied. Nahi Naina! Saari zindagi koi mujhse help nahi maangta hai kyunki Mei ek bimar hoon par tum aise nahi ho. Tumne mujhse help lee the is liye thank you. She smiled. His heart filled with peace one again. He wished time would continue like this forever.
