Just coz he tricked her to confess ...she sounded so confident on the phone when fact is she had no proof! again when and how did she realize it was Maya and not Arjun? why can't they show the whole sequence for the audience to understand and somehow everyone who gets close to getting any sort of evidence against Maya's crime thinks its more appropriate to confront Maya then alert the police... and that logic of leaving proofs behind.. more like leaving a trail of dead bodies behind ... RIP logic
