Karan Johar celebrated his 45th birthday in style today. It was truly a star-studded bash with the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna attending it.
Also seen at the bash were Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma among others.
Many Bollywood celebs also took to Twitter to wish the new daddy on his birthday. Karan on his part mentioned that this birthday is very special to him as he is celebrating it for the first time with his twins Yash and Roohi.
On the work front, KJO last directed the multi-starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The movie fared decently at the box office. However, KJO recently saw some huge success with the mega starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

That's right, you will not see pics of KJO's best bud Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri at the bash as the star couple refused to be clicked. The best friends of the birthday boy politely refused and shielded their face before the clickety clicks could click away. Also, paps noticed that the power couple came in separate cars. Engaged in different projects possibly?
Ranbir Kapoor took to the wheels, accompanied by Arjun Kapoor, Akash Ambani and Aditya Roy Kapur
Ranbir Kapoor ditched his driver today and decided to drive to the venue by himself. He had good company what with Arjun Kapoor, Akash Ambani and Aditya Roy Kapur joining in with him. Interestingly, Ranbir ex and rumoured girls were all at the bash. No points in guessing who!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were the last to leave
Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil heroine Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came with hubby Abhishek Bachchan. The Bachchan couple had such a blast at the bash that they stayed on till the wee hours of the morning. Isn't that sweet?
Clash between locals and bodyguards. Police summoned.
As there was a lot of excitement about the very many celebs heading to KJO's residence, a tiff broke out between bodyguards and the locals. So much so that police had to be summoned to control the situation. Akshay Kumar, whose bodyguard was also caught up in the tiff, decided to get off his car and walk to the venue.

Missing in action
A few prominent faces of Bollywood were missing from the most happening bash of B-town. Kangana Ranaut was not there, but we all can pretty much guess why! However, KJO's close friends Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan also gave the bash a skip.

Aamir Khan had to leave early as he had to catch a flight with his protege Fatima Sana Shaikh. He left 15 minutes after SRK's entry but managed to have a quick chat with him before leaving.
