Why are the characters made to mouth wrong English words in Indian TV serials?

Arjun says, "Anyways" which is wrong. The correct is, "Anyway."

Samay says, "Arjun is a cheater." There is no word called, "Cheater" in the English dictionary. The correct word is, "Cheat."

Only Maya speaks prefect English. That is due to Jennifer's good command over the language.

English is my first language and I can confirm that a lot of people say "Anyways". It's been said in a lot of Hollywood movies as well

Also - cheater IS a word.

While the correct word is anyway, however, usage wise anyways is spoken and used more often than ever.

Good observation.

Although "anyway" is correct, "anyways" is also used by people as a slang.

As for "cheater" it is a word.
