Me is back. From the deep slumber the episode left me in.
Honestly I was watching the actors performance today - story hasn't developed much. The performance by US Kanak was impressive, that look of hurt, the creased face of pain, still holding it together in silence US was captivating onscreen. Kanak on the other hand roaming around finding truth, she gave amazing act. She is helpless, voicing her opinion but there is nobody to hear or adhere to them.
Trust is like a piece of paper... once crumpled, even when flattened the creases remain. Same goes with people, who break our trust, no matter how sincere one becomes after it, the stigma remains constant-- same applies to Kanak and US. US broke her non earned/ non existent trust by forcing her to marry. Kanak broke his trust by running away.
US says that he isn't hurt by the woman, but by the betrayal. He says that she refused their love and concern and didn't think twice before running away. He agrees that marriage was forced but after that nobody forced her for anything. He is upset and hurt not because she hurt him, but because she didn't accept the 'sanket of Bhole Nath' ... he refuses to go find her, saying that she had left herself and will return when she wants to. He has faith. --- the stoic complex God man is hurt ... but in his hurt he doesn't realize his mistake. He isn't sorry for anything yet. He is yet to get on the journey of self guilt. He needs to know that he made a grave mistake. Although Massi is all "I told you so" mode but he is unmoved by anything. He would wait for her to come forward.
Kanak on the other hand reaches Ajmer, a porter recognized her and gets her a ride, she bumps into Dhai saa, who jokes that Kanak got married. Kanak asks to go to land registration office, from there she calls Arvind, who has arranged everything for her. -- man I need a friend like him.
Kanak meets mr Bansal, who informs her that the shop was sold 4 years back, by Bhabho to US.. he shows her cctv footage in which a lady is getting Bhabho's thumbprint on papers, whereas a man dressed like US, and wearing ring like him stands behind... Kanak spots him and calls him a devil. She later sees footage of US signing the documents in the same dress. She screams at him to leave the shop alone and not to cheat. Mr Bansal tells her that they only oversee the mutual transfer of property, they can't do anything unless a complaint is done. Kanak thinks worst of US --- the thing here is "that man is not US, he was just dressed like US to throw more cause to Kanak. For Kanak to suspect and allege US all the more. -- but the question rises 4 years have past and US wears the same kurta till date..
Both Kanak and US are on a different level, yet they are in the same zone.. they have zero self acknowledgement -- US is hurt not because she left him, but because she didn't respect Bhole Nath. Kanak is hurt not because he forced her but because he cheated Bhabho. They both are fighting not for themselves but for other entity. They both are living but not for themselves but for other. Their self actualization is missing at the moment.
Precap - Kanak is in dilemma and prays to get on the right path. Sooraj walks towards her with the same BG music US entered.
P.s - Bhabho has revived by the smell of jalebi. She is fine at the moment. Rathi family prayers have been answered but the question of missing papers has still not been raised.
